  6. unusual being in velet,a very well done peice £150
  7. thats the thing he was very high but it was a 243,but a 22.250 "usually" wants to be 1.6 inch high for a 200 ,but you cant guess you need to try it in the field, its seems people really too much on hearsay or ballistic charts and not actually real time data
  8. read this http://www.rmvh.com/MPBR.htm
  9. quite true it isnt zero. if you think your rifle combo shoots POi at 200 yards by setting your scope inch high you must try it on the board at 200 yards to varify it as you will be surprized how far you could be out the best way to set any combo up is to zero at 200 yards and then bring the baord back to 100 yards and see how high you rally are setting a scope up 1 inch high at 100 yards is just guessing. I did the exact same thing for a guy only last week,he used to be a 1 inch high at 100 yard man, once he actually saw how high he still was at 200 yards he couldnt beleieve it dont take my word for it try it for your self

    lamp

just run a feed with nice heavy duty wire direct from the battery with a 30 amp fuse in line, you will get no trouble in the future plus you can trun your engine off and still have direct power to the lamp. dont forget to carry a few spare fuses in the glove box along with a spare bulb, best not to get caught out
  11. I understand the lifting of a carcass or the passing of the rifle over an obsticle, but the advcie to deal with the carcass threw me,never mind it been a long time since I did mine so iam sure things have changed, yes when the heart is pumping is great its tells you your still keen, when it dosnt its time to pack up.had the old ticker going tonight a lovely row doe 160 yards off on a salt lick, watch it untill dark then went home,I dont shoot does this time of year but still nice to watch best of luck with your next couple of outings
  12. I see, maybe you should invest in a head torch, the petzel zip car plus is a great item to have in your pocket and can aid working on a carcass in pitch black,I didnt realize you could ask an AW for help,is this something new thats been brought in
  13. well done for managing a sucessful stalk, but a couple of questions if i may ask,I always thought the AW was there only to observe,he told you to grab your gun, didnt follow you on your stalk and told you to gralloch in the barn which you should have made that decission. as to suspended grolloch I always try to do it that way as gravity will always help,I have a climbing rope system with 2 rings attached will will hoist the largest deer up in the air
  14. you are quite a complex individual,I have no idea what your on about.sorry but I left the school yard a longggggggggg time ago
  15. thats not a very nice thing to about Gixer, and if you havnt met him its just speculation on your part
  16. thinks its the other way around
  17. thing is Iam always calm and dont suffer fools, just like you. you do things your way and I do things mine, neither one of us is right or wrong, just different.but it seems where modern tecniques and equipment comes into play Iam always wrong, strange isnt it wont be for a while yet probably for my 50th
  18. Namiba is stunning isnt it,Ive been a few times,Buff will be my next trip I think,on foot with a double rifle, now that should get the heart pumping

  22. bring it on,but pleaae make sure you have the correct info with proof to back it up old lad
  23. its getting a habit showing how wrong you are,the brass if you care to read correctly is brand new,and yes midway is £120,now if you want to shop around feel free and as to the scope being overpriced I think a £700 saving is pretty good, its amazing every nightforce you see seems to be solod for the same price again if you wish to chase me around matey at least do your homework, inseatd of making yourself look very very silly well at least we have something in common
  24. well me old duck if you had taken the time to do your homework the sportsman where selling "OLD unwanted nightforce scopes with un wanted reticules cheap" and NOT the NP2 DD which is still £1700 so you would have made yourself look really silly,by the way the scope sold within 2 hours please if your trying to have a go at me at least come with something that will stand up theres a good lad
  25. is that the best you can come up with a kids play house I sold, which went to a very happy family who children were over the moon with it,it actually sold on e bay for a lot more than what i wanted for it,
