  1. Myself and a friend are looking for an introduction to deer stalking. We have lots of experience with shotguns and rifles but are looking for an introduction to the sport before we embark on a trip to Scotland next year. Please message me with prices, availability etc as we have been let down and are itching to get out there. Thank you in advance for any help offered.
  2. I am looking at buying a jacket for my missus for Christmas but it is in their equestrian range. Are you able to get this also? Regards
  3. I'm told The Old House in Higham Ferrers is very nice. It overlooks the market square and I believe is reasonably priced. Hope this is of help. www.theoldhousehighamferrers.co.uk

  5. Thanks guys, took your advice and pumped it out last night!!
  6. Just blown my van up with over £100 of diesel in it. Whats the best way to drain it before i sell it? It has a an anti syphon valve so that is out of the question. Also dont really wana do anymore damage to the van to get its maximum value. Thanks in advance for any advice guys. Not sure how I managed to post this in sporting pictures and not sure how to move it. My apologies
  7. I shoot just down the road from some of you chaps, around Higham Ferrers. Pigeons really flocked up around here but not even gona bother decoying until harvest time. Just have to settle for my favourite type of shooting then, roosting! Im easily pleased! Although big bags can't generally be achieved, if it's blowing a gale it's great sport! Hopefully off to my favourite spot on Sunday ( Havn't been able to shoot it all winter due to the local Pheasant shoot)
  8. Had a few different bikes over the years. As a teenager I raced in the CB500 cup, an incredible handling bike in the right hands. Sold my Firestorm last year that I bought off wrightchopper a few years ago. Bought this little beauty in November and done more miles since then than I did in the last two years on the storm. Planning a few long trips this year, hopefully Morocco soon!
  9. Brand new, still in box. Surplus to requirements. Shall we say £45

  13. I would love to go spinning for some Mackerel in the next week or two. I live in Northamptonshire so couldn't be any further away from the sea but only takes a couple of hours to get to the Norfolk coast. Does anyone have any advice as to where I can go, preferably off some rocks. I don't think you get any better fishing than mackerel on a spinner and taste great too!!! Any tips or advice would be gratefully received. Many Thanks!!!
  14. Haha. WELL DONE!!! You had me for a minute!!
  15. I know it's a long shot (pardon the pun ), I'm after a cheap 20 bore, the shorter and lighter the better. I would consider anything but the tattier and cheaper the better.

  17. woodcock11, you have saved me a job of having to respond to mudpatten's ramblings, you took the words out of my mouth For anyone who is interested it was a fantastic evening. It was a pleasure to listen to John's stories, there were some fantastic shooting and fishing days to purchase in the auction (some of which went at bargain prices for driven game!)and to top it off the complimentary ploughmans was superb! All for the bargain price of £5. All proceeds from the entry and the auction went to The Game Conservancy which made for a thoroughly enjoyable evening!

  21. Top man J@mes, must be in the name lol. I know I probably sound thick but im no mechanic! Was curious how hard it is to do as im probably gona be removing one off a Citroen Synergie tomoz at the scrappy and if it's a ball ache I probably wudn't bother.
  22. Thankyou Jacks Dad. Anyone ever had to change a hub carrier on an Expert? Curious how hard it is thats all?
  23. Hi Guys. Just had my 97 Peugeot Expert MOT'd. It failed on excessive play in the ball joints. I replaced them and took it back for a re-test today. It failed again.I turns out where the ball joint goes into the hub carrier, the hub carrier is worn. I have spoken to a breaker who has got a Citroen Synergie which he reckons are the same hub carriers. Can anyone confirm this or has anyone had the same problem and got any suggestions for how to fix it? Any help would be greatly received. James
