What sort of reasonably priced scopes are recommended for .22 lr (under £200)

This may sound like a stupid question but do you have to apply for a space for each shotgun or do you just apply for 1 space?

Air arms pellets are pretty good and hit hard, but they are soft and misshape easily

the anschutz has a 14 inch barrel the cz has a 20.9 inch barrel

Iv seen two .22s i like The cz453 varmint and the anschutz 1417. Whats the general oppinions on these 2 guns. Also does the short anschutz barrel effect the accuracy?

Do you think 17hmr and upgraded theoben rapid would be a better choice and allowed by northumbria police? Also what are the best 17hrm rifles-any price?

Can anyone give me some ideas as to what i should give as reasons for fao for 17hmr and shotgun. I can say pest control but i dont really know what else to really say.

the choice of .22 was because i could use it in wind, i was considering a 17hmr but also wanting a shotgun so i didnt think i could have 3 guns first time. Also the 17 ammo seems a bit much and i you shoot a rabbit fr the pot with it youve gotta eat the fragments of bullet. But which calliber am i most likely to get if i apply and what reason should i give? :blink:

Has anyone on this site got a 453. Im thinking of buying 1 but dont know about the trigger and iv heard the 452 trigger is a bit iffy but is this the same problem for the 453 ?

You would die at my local gun shop £11.50 for hunter and field pellets. Its more of a ripoff shop than a gun shop. But i can chek them unlike if there sent and are all funny shapes, i think there worth the dosh tho.

Im after a deccent 22lr mainly for use on rabbits less than 100yds away. I have looked at the anschutz:1717,1416,64 does anyone have an idea of which one is best or possibly suggest a better rifle. The cz 453 vamint doesnt look bad either but would it be as good as an anschutz.
