  1. Or NOT

I tried this method...they only do the work in-house!

You must send them the mod. Pity, as otherwise I'd have several bushings to suit different rifle threads

Another option may be to look into different thread adapters...these will work out cheaper IF you know the thread the mod is at present, etc.

I could prob work it out as it is of my Tikka T3 Vermint and I want it to go on my Tikka T3 light both we're screw cut from the factory

  2. Jackson Rifles will do the bushing swap, about £40 inc return P&P

Top man, I will give them a call save posting the mod and get a bush thanks. Now all I have to do is to work how to get the old one out lol

  3. Is this the little dinky one for the 22lr and hmr? If so, take the end cap off and then use a liberal amount of saintly patience to tap the washers out.

Allow yourself a month for reassembly.

No mate it's the one that looks like a big can of beans on the end of your rifle lol.

I brought a new rifle this weekend and the thread is different and I want to no if the nut can be removed with out wrecking the mod ?

  4. We have a lot of hares on our perms & when I drove around last Thursday I counted 16,however none will be shot unless farmer reqests it & it will only be to thin them out.Quite a few of them where youngsters which could not be confused as rabbits.Swiss t always called them big rabbits but everyone new what he ment.

We unfortunatly had a farm in the area(not a perm) that had a problem with poachers with dogs after hares. The farmer took drastic action by going out and shooting all,or the majority of hares on the land just because of the poaching problem.

This is the same over my way. The farmer is fed up with the dog laids so told us to get rid and it has worked.

  5. Thank for all the help. As this was my first one I would pay what ever it cost as you can never get that first kill again. After all the help I have I decided to give them a call and I have just been told it will be £500.

    Thanks for all the help.
