I have plenty of land approx 2000 acres but there just aint the nunber of pigeons whuch u see down south etc all the fields are either rape or barly and dont hold tge birds like pea fields there used to be a company that had contract for birdseye pea fields and was awsome shooting 8 lads spread around several fields all shooting 250 carts a day job but birdseye moved over to france and company went down I want to find that again I regularly shoot small 10s 20s etc but no big bags like down south

just an update lads to say i went on sat to loacl rfd and bought case of gamebore pure gold 32g no 6 for £55 not really tested them yet but had a few hours on the rape and droped 4 birds out of 4 so for now will keep me happy and will hopefully get out at weekend atb kev

cheers for info lads i am going down on sat to have a good luck through waht is on offer i think i am going to be looking for something about 28-30g no 6 or 6.5 most of my pigeon shooting decoying and like to get them into about 20-35yards so should have no prob cheers kev

that was my thinking so i went for a bigger load but it seem sto be slower so i am thinking of maybe 30g no 6 but somethign about 1450fps were as the 30g no5 are only 1035fps

i bought a case of 28g 6.5 last year and found to be shooting really well but did get the odd one i looked as if i had clipped so stepped up to 30g no5 and cant hit a barn door all i can think of is they are a lot slower so lead time etc is all wrong

just trying to find out what carts people are using as going through a bad patch and am not hitting as many so am now looking to change carts

cant belive this gun has not gone mate its a excellent gun and have witnessed and shot so many rabbits and crows and when out on targets groups excelent and so consistant , sure someone will ask the mrs for an early xmas pressy atb kev

i use cheap 28g 7.5 and they drop no prob with 1/2 choke and mate uses a 410 with 7.5 in 2 3/4 and they also drop so as long as you are on to them they are gunna drop

hi there wat type of decoys are they i.e air pro , hypa flaps etc

clear view pigeon hide 3meteres x 1.5meteres brand new never been used ordered for an outing and never arrived so went and bought same hide else were in mean time was sent new hide which is for sale £15 + £3 postage or open to swaps for some mk 6 fenns or bodygrips etc or decoys

i have the same problem and i have rectified it by closing my left eye , on clays went from 9/25 with eyes open to 22/25 with one eye closed if i keep both eyes open i go cross eyed with me being left eye dominant

11 week old springer spaniel as in last post excellent temperment and coming on good with house training typical springer pup full of life and eager to please has a stye in his eye at the minute but got drops here and its going away as other post says reason for sale as its mother in laws pup and its setting off her allergies really bad and i dont have the time for the little fella due to working looking for £150 for quick sale today obviously no papers but came from working stock on local farm
