  1. Anyone got/used the Wetterlings Wilderness Hatchet?

I have been considering buying a Gransfors Bruks Wildlife Hatchet. However, a local supplier has the Wetterlings Wilderness Hatchet in stock and I though I'd ask if anyone has any experience of them.

I am still leaning towards the Gransfors.

There is Baikal Hushpower for sale around Beds area on PW, £250, near mint.

    I paid £325 new.

  3. Thanks to Richard for a great day.

The company was excellent and we were all made to feel welcome .

After not shooting a Pheasant day for more years than I care to remember I found it very enjoyable .

There were some good testing birds in the strong winds , in fact some were far too testing for me at least , I have never seen partridge going so fast !

The final bag was 122 which was far beyond my expectations .

So what gun did you use in the end?

    Did you buy one specially?

  4. Yes subs have gone up the a couple of £ per year, but not until 1st March. Please could you PM me your membership number of name and post code and I will look into this payment on Monday, however if you are paying quarterly, the first payment of your subscription year will be slightly higher

By the way, no Range Rovers at BASC, but one of our staff does have a 12yo Disco, and yes we do get free chilled water through a water chiller, but we have found that olives dont go well with chilled water

    David

Try glacé cherries, bit sweeter than olives.

  5. I used to shoot both Beverley Clay Target Centre (East Yorkshire Gun Club in those days) and Humberside Shooting Ground.

    Both were very good.

EYGC is where quite a few Internationals used to train.

HSG is quite a bit closer to Bridlington

Not sure about now, but in those days, EYCG rarely allowed the sporting layout to be used.
