    rabbit bait

Never heard of baiting rabbits....but there is a very interesting article in the september issue of air gunner...Titled " The secrets out " by Steve price junior WELL worth a read..talks about human scent......I think a MUST read for all rabbiters
  5. Buddy I havnt used one of these since the early 70s but it was a good gun then LOL
  6. Ask any gun dealer around and you will hear a lot of bad things said about them. Nobody wants to touch them because of the amount of work involved. 16 O rings before the pellet gets down the barrel. My son in law has one which sprung a leak, so I stripped it down . ( 3 dealers refused to touch it ). To many working parts and to many potential air leaks through 16 O rings. It was a complete nightmare. It seems to me this gun was just thrown together with any spare parts they could find with little or no thought behind it. The gun is now back in full working order however, without the air leak and my son in law has now bought himself an s410. ( The Logun ? ) Under his bed where I hope it stays for many years to come.

    New Airgun Laws

Your confused??:good: I was walking the streets of Northern Ireland with a 7.62 SLR at age 17 ( in a built up area GOD FORBID). Old enough to get my head shot off for queen and country but not old enough to walk into a pub and have a drink. Wasnt I lucky to have been old enough when the Falkland arrived. Seems you are classed as a man for that but not for a pellet gun. Go figure
  8. My vote would be Des O'connor anyone would run from that.......

  12. Also gonna give this a try. Great vid
  13. Quite right. So many air gunners put a pellet through a chrono and go straight to ft/lbs and are shocked to see 10.3 10.4 10.5. As long as you are under the magic 12ft/lbs and legal disregard it and look at the fps. 740 to 760 fps is ideal. Personally I think the law should be changed where ft/lbs are concerned, a ruling of 750 fps for air guns. Easily reached with a .177 at about 10.5 but nowhere near for a .22. ( just my opinion fellas )

    my rifle

It is perfectly legal to fire an air rifle in your back garden as long as the pellet does not leave the premises. I believe though you must be at least 50m from the public highway, and as long as the neibours dont complain. Twas a very nice policeman told me that a couple of days ago while I was using a chrono. Feel free to correct me if im wrong..........( but then so is the nice policeman ) Hey adam scott..........I just noticed you are from BLOXHAM.... Is that the bloxham near Banbury oxford..... If so my friend we simply must get together. I am just down the road from you LOWER HEYFORD.
