Hi all, Hope all is well at PW. I have just got hold of a cp88, and no little about the pistol target shooting religion... Just seeing if anyone knows of any clubs where I could see how bad I am at pistol shooting Not sure on back garden shooting with a pistol? I have a 60ft x 60ft garden, with a huge backstop, but again not wanting to break any laws or upset any neighbours. Can anyone shed some light on this for me... Thanks

Evening all, Unfortunately my wiehrauch 99s will be going soon as need the cash to fix up my leaking roof. I will be keeping my hw100 fsb k tho!!!! It's a nice springer and is 3 months old and I have only put one tin of pellets though it! It is in .177, I am waiting for my account to be registered so I can post it properly on the PW gun trader, but thought I would give you a heads up first. It's got a single one piece scope mount with a new hawk panoramic scope ( which was £130) Anyways like I said I will post all the details when I get verified. Night all Dave

I have both my hw100 fsb k and my hw99 both in prestige condition and I am so careful with them.... Same problem, however my father in law has an old gamo shadow that he keeps out in his workshop, no case just locked in a safe, it's always spot on!! The difference is mine is transported whenever I go shooting. He owns 3.5 acres and the gamo has never been transported or put in a case or slip. The other difference is he spent £40 on his old second hand gamo with tiny scope and he manages to hit everything!! Where as I would not like to begin on how much I have spent on rifles and pellets and sometimes I struggle to hit the barn door!! .... It's just not fair lol

I do display one... only because if i have a accident with it present in the car, i would rather the emergency services resucing me know thats its there. I paid a couple of quid for mine and its magnetic.

Yeah spent a lot of money down the tunnel, both me and my friend, they shut down for major works for a long time, both me and my friend kept in touch with them to see when they are re opening...... Got fed up with waiting over a year for them then got told all of there big spenders had a txt msg saying they are open again... Must have missed both mine and my mates.

I'm looking for a gunsmith to tube up my wiehrauch 99s .177. I just want it a bit smoother and trying to loose its twang, I was looking into doing it myself but lack the time to do it properly, joys of being a plumber!! .

Thanks for that. I store my rifles in my under stairs cupboard which has a door, not lockable tho. With my sofa in front of it, and the rifles in there cases. Will look into a safe and some trigger locks. Thanks all

Just reading issue 1, volume 15 of shooting sports,page 12. Top of the page it says "with legal requirements for sub 12 ft/lb air rifles to be secured" Have I missed something here? I thought Scotland may be brining this in? Am I still legal storing my rifles without a safe ?

Just to add, my magnums pushed my 100 over @ 12.65. Not a lot, but not legal. I get brilliant results with jsb exacts in 4.53. .177.

Hi all, nearly Christmas! I have brought a 99k for wet weather as I hate getting my hw100 wet!! I know it's sad but true. Anyways after firing it, I loved it, only the twang noise after my shot is not great. I have seen posts about this before. Can anyone tell me the best for my noisy 99?? I'm more than happy with its power and scared that floating the mainspring will cause it to be over. I do have a croney, but just wanted to ask for advice first before getting the tools out.
