if your talking urban fox,then that is a different story,as they do not meet as many shooters as their country cousins and control etc is a different matter. so in the country it is not possible to be replaced quickly,as their breeding does not work to that schedule.what you may mean is that the void will be eventually filled if you wait long enough. proven fact where i shoot,shot a lot of foxes and you will be lucky to see 2,where before you tripped over them and no,i have not shot one since shooting that lot(14 months waiting time since shooting them),so not had to control them since ,as they are not a nusiance and they have not filled the void as quick as your saying,unless you have a massive fox problem,which changes the whole talking point.so is the proven fact not working on my shoot? you may get more trying to do that in summer,as the cubs are made to go their own way but,come winter time,this will not be the case.till summer time. so i shoot a fox and then next day another fox moves in quickly.wow great news for us fox shooters. al

to be fair to you billy,i have seen it before and had prior knowledge(so no need to rewind for me) of this programme and it can look decieving through a camera lens,as it happened quite quickly. did anyone else notice the 2 zz top blokes(as frenchie calls them) with that fox on the pavement,that had been run over and did i hear correctly that ,the RSPCA had given it an injection to put it out of it`s misery as it was in such poor shape,after being hit by a car. the thing i heard them say...was that the RSPCA left it there after injecting it..seems strange to do this,as the RSPCA would have seen the programme and would have defended themselves somehow i suspect. good programme and shown a before and after view on foxes but,it is a shame that the views had to be changed at the expense of 2 children. al

if people ask for foxes to be removed,who cares that it is a dominant male and prey tell how you came to that conclussion?. i think your talking about the old story about.shoot a fox and more will come to the funeral. bloke does a job and puts shooters in a good light and all can be said is negativety. al

this programme is a revamp and has an update tagged on it..the couple have now stopped feeding the foxes,due to the the recent events involving the 2 children. so it is an old view but,withe a new look on what people think of foxes after the attacks.. that is a very safe backstop for the shots,notice the ground was wet/angle of shot was spot on and the guy has many years of experience shooting urban foxes. we can only see through a camera lens,he can see far more and better than we can. he put shooters in a good light,so don`t knock it. al

yes but,they tagged on a sort of update and views on foxes,after the attack on the 2 children. notice the couple that stopped feeding the foxes,due to the story on the attack recently. al

i had the same problem in my cz with cci..bolt was very difficult to lock down. turns out on my rifle,that the chamber needed to be reamed out and then they were fine..the other answer to it,was to not use cci and use the more pointy type bullets.like lapua,which were very good. cci did say to me that i should use their other cci bullets and not the ones i used,as they other type are a bit shorter(sorry cannot remember the ones they mentioned). al

when new it will be stiff..i was told to just sit with it(empty of course)and work the bolt..load and then unload.as it takes quite some time to become easy to use but,it will become easier..easier than firing shots to loosen the bolt. al

good luck and you may be surprised at the outcome,as most of us shooters have an habit of looking on the bleak side of things,when in fact they turn out to be the opposite. got to admit that some areas will not tell you if it is passed or not,until you have put a permission letter in.. hope it goes well. al

phone your local feo and ask them,s they will know.. as for what firearms can be used..difficult to say,case of if not passed,you will have to wait and see. al
