I took a fella out a few years back who had a Ruger that had a custom barrel, receiver, trigger, in fact I don,t think there was anything that was original on the gun. Well it jammed quite often and the noise of the receiver cycling and ejected cartridges hitting the wind screen was very off putting. And to be honest it was like shooting rabbits with a machine gun. I am told that bolt actions are more accurate and I think are a safer option because it gives you time to think about what and where you are shooting.........................

You honestly believe Hares are not wounded on Hare drives?

Your seem very anti dogs (running dogs that is), what are your views on hare drives? should these be banned? hundreds of hares shot and wounded. Coursing when done properly was and always will be the sport of Kings in my opinion.

Went out with the rimmie last night and as I was approaching the farm a black fox cub ran around the road and disappeared into a field of maize......................as anyone else seen one or was it just my imagination?

Scope mounted lightforce 140 lamp with mount and red filter, as been well used and as a new ungraded 35a switch fitted. SOLD!!!!!!!!!! 4. Genuine lightforce Infra red filter for a 140 lamp, used but good condition. £25 + £3 p&p. 5. Barbour cartridge bag and Barbour liddesdale shotgun slip both in used but good condition £40 + £5 p&p. I got a 3-9x40 today, just mounted it on the rifle tonight and i am going to zero it in the weekend. I got a very good deal from the optic warehouse. Am very pleased with it so far and will be giving it a try out Saturday night on the rabbits.............

Been using the MK3 for a few seasons now because my MK1 went tits up during a ferreting session, my only criticism is the noise it makes but you will get use to it. Just make sure you get the MK3M collars because they have the leather straps (better fitting), the batteries last for ages and they are waterproof (just rinse them under the tap when they are covered in mud)............

I will not be breeding this year, I have enough working stock. All my jills have been in with a snipped Hob...................I cant see why people breed for the sake of it.
