Spinach its been festering for a few years now. I put up with it for an easier life so to speak, didnt work so as ME says need to grow some.... I posted because i wanted to gauge if i was over-reacting or not,more to aid my confidence i think and i was pretty sure somone here would have been through the same or similar.

Yes and no. Its the principal that i am expected to have xmas dinner with her family but she refuses to have my family join us. But its not just xmas its anytime. She refuses to compromise. I have no desire to end my marrige but am not being forced by anyone to chose one or tuther or shut one out, who deserves that done to them? Very good points mungler.

The 300 million was allegedly planned to put a pipeline in to bring gas into grangemouth from usa as not enough was being sent in from the north sea oil fields

Figgy surely its better to lose a final salary pension to still have a job and a damn good and well paid one at that. Relocation would cost more as the forties pipeline is already in place to pipe to grangemouth

Went for a job intrview couple of months ago, fortunatly i fluffed the interview. Does anyone else think unite were wrong to advise its members to reject proposals now around 800 staff will lose their jobs. does the spell the end of the trade union in britain.

I kinda resent her already and ive told her that. She has said today that the midwife says she has post natal depression. I dont want to rock the boat before seeking help as if it goes belly up i want to keep the house. Even talking about it that way sounds like i know which ending is going to happen.

My mum is not mental or dangerous. Should have pointed this out. We control the finances together. Think she may have control issues. I feel it was beneficial to get views from folk who dont know us ie our friends and family may be biased. Fwiw my wife does not hate my mum they just dont get on. A clash of personalaties if you want. Been at my wits end and just had enough. Thanks for the advice guys. What i am worried about is access to my kids if we separate. I have a good close knit of friends who are here to support me. Out of 6 coulpes marries only 2 of us are still married. Worryingly

Thanks jj. Done counselling before when i lost my best mate in a car crash but this is very diferent.

My wife and i are having some bother. She and my mum have never got on for no reason what so ever. My wife has refused to have my mun over for xmas dinner as she doesnt want sn altmosphere on xmas day and only wants to spend it with her family. My wife also refuses to let my mum or dad look after or spend anytime alone with our kids. My mum and dad have started to resent her cos of this and my mum has also started avoiding me and ignoring my contact. She has agreed to marrige councilling but i am not sure it will help. I dont want to lose my mum but also love my wife and family and dont know what to do. Anyone been kn the same boat or constructive advice more than welcome. Ncs

Ahhh i see. The shoot is in lauder. Been going there since weve had it 18 years ago. Only done a few years beating mainly around heriot etc.

Ha i would have the same problem,she keeps shouting with her defenders on. I personally would rather she was out with me than stuck in a house watching tv or a dvd and love all the questions. Had a great day with my daughter isla yesterday. Invited as a guest on my old syndicate and isla has been champing to go on a shoot day. Shez been cushie shooting before and loved it but i thought it may have been hard work but nay she had a ball, only wanted to come home once 2nd drive cos the hatch of buzzers above her were annoying her. Only got wet on the last drive and is shown holding her dads pheasants(who shot half the bag btw) total bag was 7 and only the wild good fliers were shot at. Not out much the remainder due to spending time with my young family but if yesterday is what it will be like then will have a very happy dad.
