  1. I believe its a capacitive screen so your fingernail wont work, you have to use the pad of your finger. Also the windows phone operating system will correct a word if not all the letters are correct so you dont need to be 100% accurate.
  2. If your using a slow shutter speed then use a tripod to prevent blur.
  3. Im with Andy on this one. There is no real difference in the hearing protection of a cheap and most expensive pairs of ear defenders. The part that protects your ear is identical. You are just paying extra for the microphone, speaker and electronics which bypass the protection when there is no loud noises. The pro 9s have an SNR (amount of sound reduced) of 21, a search of the internet has come up with mouldex disposable foam earplugs a £5 for 5 pairs with an SNR of 35. The napier pro 10s have a slightly higher rating as they are designed for centrefire shooting so they may be worth a try.
  4. Another vote for the pro 9s. I find them very comfortable and easy to hear through.
  5. I didnt get on too well with mine but I think its a matter of perseverence, I might try it again soon. Dont let the bright green light distact you from the bird, clay etc.
  6. Ive got the standard kit and it does a great job, I would like a finer stone but i think that comes with the deluxe (mine kit only has 3 stones). As Blackla says make sure you write down what angle you have sharpened to. I always find i've forgotten the angle by the time the knife needs sharpening again.
  7. 1) I shouldnt have thought that would be a problem, I dont live where mine are stored all 7 days of the week. As your dad already has firearms the security should be up to scratch already there too. 2) Teacher, director of a ltd company, chartered engineers. They realise that not many of us know many justices of the peace etc so just choose someone 'of good standing.' 3) No idea, i know that it has come up on this forum before and i believe the consensus was to break the gun down and put it in a rucksack or similar. Probably best to ask the FEO when you get interviewed for his advise.
  8. I see what you mean. All the adjustable kits i've seen before the part with the allen key slots has been centered and recessed into the comb so that the comb can be set right down. Try UK Gun Repairs, I had a second hand (and v. good condition) beretta stock off Dennis when I needed one last year.
  9. Massa & Kimmi Raikonen I think.

    HELP

Just a thought, (i realise you have already had some offers of free software keys) if your daugther is a student you can office 2010 for £38 Here instead of the normal (horrendous) price. 99% sure your code on the bottom of the laptop will be for win 7.
  11. Great video. Really enjoyed both the shooting and seeing you work your dog. Keep them coming
  12. Have you seen the video on this thread HERE. Post #8 Jesse James does a great video on making a set of shooting sticks.
