Carbon build up on threads and any moisture, will bind the threads but it wont weld them together, i always free mod. a little after each use, and clean threads once a week.

Would you give shooting to someone you have never met :stupid: best way forward is to go and introduce yourself, have your FAC, insurance, and any signed shooting permission from other Landowners/farmers etc.

THEN DONT SHOOT !!! If the shot doesn't present itself, DONT take the chance, how would have felt if you had injured the fox, and it ran off with a gaping wound in its rear leg. Looking at your video it was a young cub, and if you know anything about FOXES you should know that it was on fresh stubble hunting out voles, mice, beetles etc. you had all the time in the world...... everything was on your side, as we can all see !!! You shot and missed the fox was bewildered, it looked up and most likely seen your dirty great landrover, and what did it do, carried on as if nothing had happened. No need for a crystal ball...just a little common sense When we post Video footage for all to see....Remember all the comments you receive are not all good, its great when folk say great video nice shooting, but we dodnt all like critisism, which this is, take it in your stride and LEARN FROM IT. If i hadn't seen part 1 of the video and only seen part 2, i would have been the 1st to say great video and nice shooting (which it was) but i seen part 1 and i am giving you my honest opinion based on what i seen. Keep up the good work... Videos and Shooting as many Foxes as you can.

Should have waited until it was side onto you before shooting, lucky you missed you would have only injured it anyway, as it was facing away from you. Better shot the 2nd video, hate it when they run on before dropping, makes finding it a lot harder when grass is long and its dark oclock

I load 34g with varget, knocks foxes over good style, using 90grn speer spitzer. reloading 200 at the moment hence why i made a mistake with bullet type. ABOVE IS CORRECT NOW.
