with the current voting system ...aint never going to happen

I'm thinking along the same lines - except that now voters have felt so mugged off by the two **** big parties they will rebel and try another party at least parading as having british interests at heart out of desperation.

Hamas shielders will also be diluting main party votes courtesy of the scottish troll with a lot of mouth.

With two decently supported alternatives there may now just be a chance to break the ConLab fixed menu.

  2. I watched some of his State of the union address this morning. Apart from a few very minor stumbles he was quite lucid and confident in his lengthy rousing statements and didn't seem to be reading an autocue. Maybe he's got a bit of health recovery going on.

Or you can take up the offer to PM me your email address and I will email you any updates I put up on PW a day before I do so. That to me is a solution that meets your needs, is it not?

Sorry but that's even more of a malarkey, the forum members have to wait a day for breaking news or other information? So the membership funds get screwed with again for an odd couple of people? I'm not very good at being tactful - and sometimes feel plain English is better.

Not being rude but sometimes people just have to bend a bit and suck stuff up done in the name of common sense practical expediency.

Now come on, we've got used to your interesting Narfolk based spellage, but now that you've started repeating yourself, some of us are wondering what's going on................................

  5. Being on a low income we qualified for a new condensing boiler to replace our almost 40 years old heating/ copper tank system, cavity wall insulation top up and additional loft insulation in our small 2 bed semi. I think the council payed for it. I have to say it's nice to get something back from all the council tax we pay them every year.

The pension like all benefits should be based on levels of subsistence. Anything over that should be paid out of pension savings made during working life. Why should pensioners get paid more benefit than those on job seekers allowance?

Few 'Jobseekers' loosely termed, would have worked and funded other peoples pensions for well over 40 years, as said elsewhere a full basic pension has been contributed to, a jobseekers allowance only may have been contributed to.

Look I'm being a bit of a wind up, but you have to see the flaw in the logic. Why should somebody be working 60h a week to earn 40k to pay for their children's upbringing and a mortgage on a vastly over priced house in order to pay for you to live a life of Riley doing what you want all week?

I'm not saying the pension shouldn't exist, but it should be the bare minimum and I think it's gone way beyond that and people are claiming it for far too long.

That horse of yours is to damn high by far for many of us; This is what I started and finished the monthly period with in my bank. I took the dog for a walk to the cashpoint today to check my balance: £1.68 available to spend till my pension gets paid again.

This is how some pensioners get by witha bare minimum you speak of.

The problem is that the UK and USA do pay, but others don't.

Trump didn't encourage Russia to attack other countries. He merely pointed out the consequences of free loading. It was a wake up call to non payers, but there was always going to be the hysterical reaction. It's a shame that those critics don't put the same effort into berating non payers, but that doesn't grab the woke headlines, does it?

I bought it at Black friday prices with about 50% off - so expect to pay about £100 unless you can find a deal. I can't find a link to one ATM.

Trump Has said he would support Putin to attack NATO countries if they had not paid their bills. What a complete moron. How anyone could ever see this spanner as an acceptable candidate for president is beyond me.

Anyone who ever saw Trump as the right side of normal. needs a recalibration of their value system.

Infections in the bladder can be a beggar to treat I know a few who have had to have drip fed antibiotics in hospital to clear up a persistent infection!

had the camera up a while ago and even the urologist told me to hold on to something as this bit was going to hurt ! As he pushed the camera through my enlarged prostate!

I have raised blood vessels in my bladder due to enlarged prostate they have bled now and again

holing your get sorted Dave G

Hope you get sorted out mate. They say i have marked diverticula and significant trabeculations.

I was awake for my previous smaller flexible scope but under general anaesthetic for the bigger rigid one. ISTR being told to anticipate some pain passing through the prostate with the flexi one: I'm getting different answers as to if the urethra passes through a hole in the prostate or alongside/behind it. I suspect they have to ram a larger rigid one through and I'm beginning to lose confidence in the surgeon and his prepping team because of the way they avoid spelling it out. They also won't tell me how big the camera head is but I recall some reference that larger one's are used if its thought something may need to be removed. Nothing was taken. I'm slightly autistic and dyslexic so can't take everything in in one go.

My understanding was there is an gradually shrinking hole size though as a prostate enlarges to the extent it slows urine passage: so how come they can get a chuffing camera scope through it without forcing it open a little more... leading to some parts being pushed aside or along... into the bladder opening.

Word processing makes me seem better when online.

Dave think I have seen the process on YouTube  to do what Your talking about I am on a 4 weeks course of antibiotics  for prostratetitus . I take Tamsulosin .but at the moment I could read a book while peeing 😀😀

Blimey - I hope that gets taken care of soon mate.

My younger brother had prostate cancer, was told he will die with it rather than die from it.

He's cut out vegetable oil and margarine etc and lots of other foods that apparently cause us inflammation so no more pasty's, white bread etc unless he makes it himself. He now uses beef dripping or lard for frying.

Also cereals that are sprayed off with weedkiller before harvesting. He's now clear of cancer at his last check up.

I've just checked my catheter drain bag - almost yellow urine now instead of redish pink.
