cz with trigger kit in 17 hmr will shoot better than most mere mortals in the field, takes a little time & lots of rounds to learn just how good these guns can be. after 3 years my best is a head shot rabbit at 143 yards (on a calm afternoon)

contact your local game shoots offering pest control & help with summer work parties. also it helps to contact farmers when you have identified a certain area of crop damage etc.many farm workers are contractors,give your details/card to any body you see driving farm machinery! keep at it mate,i had 1 former who turned me down 3 times in 2 years, now i shot around 150 rabbits a year for him!

i have used a sony hdr-cx6 [£100 evilbay] and night hunter scope/i.r. laser combo to head shoot rabbits out to 90 yards on my hmr , but now use sony hdr-cx7 as i can scan fields with the screen & then shoot thru the viewfinder

hmr is great for long range,IFyou can shoot long range, i bought 17 as my 1st rimfire, but soon added a 22lr. 30p a shot means 17hmr is only used where realy need

i do a few favours to help out a local game shoot,and get the vermin shooting permission. also had some cards printed ,SEEKING SHOOTING PERMISSION, & contact details. gave out loads of these to farm workers/contractors and eventually got the rabbit control on a farm that had twice refused me permission. keep trying,i had no luck for acouple of years, but ended up with 100s of acres

i have had to scrap my 1993 paj , but have saved the wheels& tyres, 4 at,s 2x 90% tread & 2x 95% tread , these tyres were only fitted in may and are in good nick. also included spare wheel,but this tyre is no good. looking for £220 buyer collects from barton ,thanks

k reg 2.5td swb pajero with gasket and/or head problems in the last 12mths it has had 4 new tyres,track rod ends,front discs & pads, ball joints, steering dropper arm and miller bros manual pre-heat kit mot expires august will start and run ,but over heats v. quickly i will weigh it in for £300 minus the tyres which should fetch £200,probably in the next fortnight so any one who wants it can take it away for £500

my 1993 pajero has developed the cylinder head problem ,rapidly overheating & exhaust fumes thro the radiator, it has been a smashin shooting bus and i am loathe to scrap it. is there any way to find out if it is the head , or just the gasket? or if anyone wants it for spares (£500) please contact me,thanks

if you cut a bit of mdf & fix it to the wall first(above skirting),you can sit the cabinet on the floor in front of the skirting and drill straight through the mdf into the wall,but make sure the anchor bolts/screws you use are long enough to get a solid fixing
