  15. the easiest way to introduce a younster is a telicopic wip/pole they are very inexpensive and easy to use, i would head to a reputable tackle shop and speak to them, if they are worth there salt they will steer you in the right direction
  16. i got some of those back in march, id go as far as to say the best money iv ever spent even though i didnt get the discount
  17. for a rad i would try either paddoks, allmakes 4x4 or bearmach one of them srould beable to do one at a sensible price

  22. thanks all the good news is weve bin on several walks since and have seen 5 or 6 dogs and have had no bad reaction from him, he is still keen to say hello to other dogs. as it was i didnt say alot to the other owner because i wasnt sure where i stood, but would i have been within my rights to ask for there details ect and for them to help twards vet bills? thanks rob
  23. thanks for the feed back, i think jasper will be givin all dogs a wide berth for a while. at the time he was on my partners left hand side quite close in and not pulling on the lead as we walked past a group of people standing with there backs to where we indended to walk the dog was infront of them so thought nothing of it, the dog came past the owner to get to jasper, so didnt actually see what happened just started peting the dog when my partner shouted 'your nasty dog just bit my dogs face' (she was very upset and in tears at the time) so probably not the best thing to say first, thats why im asking realy.
  24. took the dogs to the burghley game fair today, we had a lovely time till an other dog decided to bite our little spaniel across the face, he made the worst noise iv ever heard and has a cut below his eye about 15mm long and a scratch on his eyelid, jasper (the spaniel) has been to the vet she said its nothing to worrie about (looks worse than it is, but lucky it missed his eye) given him anti biotics and said it should heel fine. the owner of the dog just had a go at us makeing it seem like our fault and walked off, As we are new to dog owner ship we wer unsure what we should of done or do if anything like it happens in the future? forgot to say our dogs wer on leads all day sorry for the spelling
