I am wanting to buy a good Binocular mainly for looking over fields at Pigeons Can anyone reconmend a brand/type/where to buy etc.. ? Any help would be appreiciated.

I went rough shooting at the weekend with friends and on a pool we flushed a all white mallard got up. I have only seen white pheasants before and my friends have never seen one. I wondered what other all white species have other people seen ?

I have seen alot of Pigeons feeding on Barley Stubble, I rang the Farmer yesterday and spoke to his wife about shooting it on friday, she said no problems B) . Today I have seen the farmer ploughing the field :< . I have booked the day off work for friday to shoot it, Is it worth using a magnet on bare ploughed land or should I not bother ? The field has a couple of flight lines across it.

I'm looking to buy a S/H semi automatic shotgun mainly for Pigeons, but don't know alot about them. Has anyone got an advice or recomendations.

I'm new to this site so appreciate I may be coming into this too late. Most agricultural machines have a built in device to limit damage from a 'jam'. Do you know what type of machine it has damaged, Combine Harvester or Baler ? The reason for asking is I find it difficult to believe that you caused any damage at all. If the rod was sticking out of the ground then it could have jammed the knives on the cutting bar on the front of a combine, the knives are replaced easily. I can't beleive that a baler picked it up if it was laid on the ground. Have you seen the damaged piece of metal to identify that it was yours ?
