Thinking of doing this soon, but I'm a bit worried about field dressing a deer.! Do you do anything like this on the BASC DSC1.? I'll get better at it with time, but wouldn't feel to hot doing it for my first time in front of a crowd.! A

Zero it with, or without moderator....?

Ok, just got my new .17hmr and scope, now how is the best way to zero it.... Do I start at 25 yards, and work my way out to 100 yards..... Tried last night quickly at 100 yards, and couldn't hit the 8inch target at all.....

Ok collected this on Thursday, and went to clean it and found this.....! It is hard to show in photos..... I'm 99% sure the gun has been rubbing in the transport box, and has turned the lacquered finish slightly cloudy, about the size of a 50p.....! It has also chipped the finish on the butt plate..... I never have any luck when buying new guns.....! OH, it's a Anschutz 1517 .17 hmr......

£80...... It can stay in the safe, and Nephew can use it the odd day......

None of the currant guns on Guntrader have the Anschutz stock, just the one RUAG have....!

Is the Anschutz Thumbhole stock that RUAG sell in the UK, as a complete gun, a real Anschutz product....? There is no thumbhole stock like it on the Anschutz website.....! And there is no but pad like it also.....! Do RUAG bring it in, and add the stock....? I'm taking .17hmr.....

When out in the field do you use a bi-pod....? If not what do you do....? Just pulled the trigger on a anschutz .17hmr thumbhole, and it doesn't have swivel mounts.... Not sure what to do....!

Just ordered a new Anschutz .17hmr thumb hole.... I see they don't come with swivel mounts....? The gun will be used for rabbits, I don't mind no sling, but will I miss a bi-pod, or just buy some shooting sticks....?
