  1. Originally bought this phone as a second phone when my original phone went in for repair. Carphone warehouse (other mobile shops are available) told me it would be away for a month hence purchase, but it came back after a week. Therefore phone is like new even bought a cover and screen protectors for it.The phone is a Sony ericsson W395 in gun metal grey, it is locked to orange , but can be unlocked by your local market trader.I am looking £30 posted. Have not mastered uploading photos on this site, but you can google W395 and there are plenty of pictures there.

    Thanks

  2. I bought the doyle sport glasses earlier on this year at the newark show. I think I paid about £30 for the frames and lens, only one colour amber available as he had sold all the other colours(other colours available by mail order). That price included the prescription lens insert, spec savers put the lens in them for another £30. The lens insert is a nickel finish, not too reflective.The edge of the lens insert is noticable as the lens insert is not the same shape as the coloured outer lens, but I dont find it too annoying. Overall they are ok for the money.

  3. I bought a dt10 about a year ago, its 10 years old and i use it for skeet so it is usually fitted with two skeet chokes (I bought an extra skeet at the time of purchase). I was shooting sporting with it today and was looking for the the 1/4 choke (yellow) but there wasn't one in the box of chokes it came with. My question is how many chokes would this gun have come with and what would they have been. The answer to this question may help me from pulling the house apart looking for it.

  4. If pletors float your boat follow this link.This shop selling them for £99, But you have to ask yourself what type you prefer not what someone else perfers.You basically have in ear custom fit or the ear muff type. I have used both over the years and prefer the in ear type as I find them less intrusive, but thats my personal preference. Some people like the ear muff type.I agree some of the the electronic in ear custom fits are expensive but there is cheaper options available,Custom fit are available from £80 if you search the web, even the hearing part of spec savers are doing them.

  5. section 36 of the VCR act 2006 concerns the manufacture, import and sale of realistic imitation firearms. it is not concerned with the possession of such firearms. You would need to look at section 19 of the 68 act "carrying a firearm in a public place" for possible offences. This was amended in the anti social behaviour act 2003 section 37(1)(d)to include imitation firearms. A soft air gun is classified as an imitation firearm (see section 57(4)for definition. They are classified as imitation firearms because they do not satisfy the definition of a firearm as defined in the 68 act, "firearm" means a lethal barrelled weapon of any description from which any shot, bullet or other missile can be discharged. Soft air guns are not "lethal", they fall well short when tested. Before any one gets on their high horse they are capable of causing injury including serious injury to an eye,but as far as the law goes they are imitition firearms.

  6. If you look on the under side of the barrels you will see the spanish proof house marks, there should be a a proof house year code made up of a letter and a single number, let me know what it is and i will let you know what year it was proofed and that should give you an idea how old your gun is.

  7. If you read the "home office advice to police on firearms" which is freely available as a download on the internet you will read the following paragraph:-

    Section 8 Antiques

    Part I: Old weapons which should

    benefit from exemption as antiques

    under section 58 (2) of the Firearms

    Act 1968

    8.5 Pre-1939 weapons to benefit from

    exemption as antiques are as follows:

    a) All muzzle-loading firearms;

    B) Breech-loading firearms capable of

    discharging a rimfire cartridge other than

    4mm, 5mm, .22 inch or .23 inch (or their

    metric equivalents), 6mm or 9mm rimfire;

    c) Breech-loading firearms using ignition

    systems other than rimfire and centrefire

    (These include pin-fire and needle-fire

    ignition systems, as well as the more

    obscure lip fire, cup-primed, teat fire

    and base fire systems);

    What this means is if you keep a pin fire gun as a curiosity or an ornament as per sec 58(2)of the firearms act 1968 it is exempt from certificate procedure. It does not need to be deactivated. The important bit is "curiosity or ornament" it must not be used. If it is used then it must be on a certificate.

  8. A friend who has just started at sporting clays is complaining that the rubber butt plate on his gun is catching on his vest (leather panels) as he mounts the gun, spoiling his shot. He is looking for suggestions of anything he can put on the the gun which will stop this.I suggested he could put electrical insulation tape on it as that is what i have used in the past as a cheap and cheerful solution. No smart A*se replies please.

    Thanks
