As already stated this was covered a while back when someone posted the question was it legal to give a set of barrels to someone to work on if they didn't hold a sgc. After many posts including some from a rfd on here who said it illegal it was shown it was not illegal. It is obvious your feo has a very poor understanding of the 68 act if they are giving you that advice. If you were to read section 57 (1) of the act the last paragraph of that section is what allows you to have the barrels without a certificate.it doesn't make for easy reading but thats the bit you need.my job involves me working with the 68 act on a daily basis unlike some of the people giving you the wrong advice on here about this matter.

Are midway uk connected to midway usa? The reason I ask is I have been looking at browning DS chokes on the net and they are $48 (just under 30 quid when converted) in Midway US but when you look them up in MIdway uk they are £65 just over double the price, .

have not wore them yet, i am currently wearing a pair of similar boots by la crosse,

I bought a pair recently, paid £135 for them, usually buy lowa boots, but thought they were worth a punt at that price.

Thanks for the replies, have no intention of buying them, just wanted to watch the video again out of interest.

I remember either reading a review or seeing a video (probably fieldsports tv) for a pellet that carries more energy down range when compared to other brands. I think it had a spiral cut / grooves along its length such that not all the skirt was in contact with the bore, can anyone tell me what this pellet is called.
Thanks

I have found if you shop about you can get some great deals, especially after xmas on some decent watch brands. I purchased a few watches over the years. I have never paid more than 50% of the rrp. Brands i have seen half price examples of are rado, omega, raymond weil, ball and oris. I got a raymond weil just after xmas reduced 50%. Seen an Oris in a local jewelery shop reduced from 2k to 1k and a raymond weil in the same shop reduced from £900 to £450. So my advice is keep an eye on major brands websites and keep an eye on high street shop windows for those little 50% off gems.

the unlimited data on the virgin £15 deal is not truly unlimited, its 3 gig a month and after that they slow you down, so yes it is unlimited in legal terms but in reality not.
roof work
in Off Topic
Posted
The mortar that holds my ridge line roof tiles has been coming away and sliding down the roof so I think its about time I got them lifted and reseated with new mortar, so I asked a roofer working on a neighbors house for a price for this work and he has told me between £300 - £400 pounds. I live in a bog standard semi and the roof line is approx 26 feet long. Has anyone had this type of work done recently or know if this is a fair price for this type of work.
Thanks in advance.
