  1. Thanks guys, I will go tomorrow night and zero at 100.
  2. I suspect that this topic has probably been covered on here before but I can't find it! For general use what range do you tend to zero your .17HMR's at?I was thinking probably 50 yards and that should leave me 'on' from 30 yards out to maybe 120 yards? Any thoughts on that? Thanks, Neil.
  3. I don't know if anyone on here has had the pleasure of dealing with 243ack, but I have just done a deal on a .17hmr and would just like to say what an absolute pleasure it was to do business with this man! if you are looking for a Cz .17 you could do a lot worse than trying him first. highly recommended! :good:
  4. I know its not much help to you due to distance, but my last lot of American Eagle came from Southerton guns at Habrough, they were £51 for a 1000. Quite loud but don't half strike hard!
  5. I am posting these pictures because I can! I have just worked out how to resize etc and am making the most of it!
  6. This was my first shotgun bought from euroguns of Doncaster approx 18 months ago. It has 28" barrels and a full set of chokes, keys etc. It is in good overall nick with one or two small marks from putting it in and out of the cabinet. The top ejector occasionally doesn't throw the empty all the way out, new ejectors are about £30 each so at worst it would cost that to rectify, but as I say it's not a regular thing. I still have the original box that it came in. I would like £350 or very close to, or I would prefer to swap for a .17hmr, would prefer CZ but am open to offers. Would also consider semi auto as a trade. F2F only please, Please note- this gun is now sold!
  7. Sorry if you didn't want to see this picture but I have been experimenting all morning with different ways to resize my pictures to post them on here, and the one I found easiest was paint! Now I have the hang of it I might have to post more photo's!!

    firefox

I use firefox for internet and thunderbird for email and I reckon they are both better than microsofts offerings!
  9. In Grimsby you have to ask for cod to be cooked in the chip shop whereas haddock is ready cooked. No one here buys cod unless you want it for making fishcakes! Haddock every time for me please.
  10. Hi, You should have no problems shooting a scoped weapon with your distance prescription lenses as you can focus by adjusting the focus on your scope and/or slightly varying your eye relief. I shoot both with and without my glasses (no glasses at the range but glasses for rabbiting etc)and I find that just a slight adjustment to the focus on the scope is fine. I shoot shotgun with my glasses on so Glasses for close up work are not really needed as far as shooting goes. hope this helps, regards, Neil.
  11. Thanks Magwitch, I tried to put the pic on like that but failed
  12. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff276/mickrob63/DSCN0959.jpg?t=1294944848 Just thought you might like to see this! 4 black boys, 1 black girl and one of each in yellow (never posted a pic before-hope this works)
  13. Thanks for that chaps! So would I be in order If I asked for 2 more .22 slots to be added? (I am thinking of a semi-auto and maybe a lever action) Also how much does this cost? There are never any details on the forms. :look:
  14. A belated happy new year to you all. I have a question about what guns I can own. On my FAC I have presently .22lr x1 .22 mod x1 .17hmr x1 .17mod x1 .308 x1 .308mod x1 I would quite like to get a .22 semi auto to play with at my gun club, so can I get another slot added to my ticket or will I have to swap something, ie my .308 mod for another .22lr? When I applied for my ticket I wrongly assumed that once I was licensed for a particular calibre the number of weapons owned in that calibre would not be important! Whichever route I have to go down is there a special form or do I just have to fill in another application form and omit photo's references etc? thanks in advance for any advice you may have for me. Neil.
