  1. how do I list my gun for sale

  2. Try "wabbitbosher" Kettering ( Mick Vokes), he renovates and decommissions all type of guns and cuts them up as well, he maybe able to help you out. I bought two guns off him, a Miroku and a side by side Baikel hammer gun that I've just finished renovating, he's very reasonable with his prices.
  3. Just bought a double barrel Baikal hammer gun off "wabbitbosher" Kettering, pristine bores (good price), but heavily rusted barrels. I looked all over the internet looking for something to use, all sorts of chemicals available, at all sorts of prices. I came across a short posted article by an American guy saying he used an old US copper penny. As all our copper pennies had been recalled by the Royal mint, when the copper price went through the roof, I decided to use a short length of 22mm copper pipe, hammered over a mandrel and it fitted my barrels profile. Within 40 mins of rubbing with gun oil over a very rusty barrels, they came up relay well, will not need to re-blue them either. Hope this helps you guys Here's the original YouTube item:
  4. Thanks, I have an SP30 and your right they are very hard on speeders here. I'll just have to apply and cross my fingures
  5. Hi I will be renewing my shotgun licence at the end of this year, however, I picked up a speeding fine last year. I live in Norfolk and wondered if this fine would cause problems for my renewal. can anyone give me advice?
  6. as mentioned above, this is Alan's site http://fairclaytargets.co.uk/ excellent Sunday out, 100 clays at £22, plus buffet at local pub, great atmosphere. Don't be afraid to come along, even if your new to clay shooting.
  7. Hitclays set some awsome traps today, I here 84 won, that's how good the traps were. I would like to thank all you clay shooters for making it a great days shooting. The best clay shoot in Norfolk Jenners
  8. Hello Countryside Lass's great Sunday, see ya all at Holkham

  9. Hi Mate

Thanks for the text, went DOWN well

  10. Yet again, another great mornings shooting. Us local Norfolk shooters were pleased to meet you guys from Lowerstoft and other places west, please come again. Hope you all had a safe journey home. I hope you all agree we had agreat mornings shooting, free tea, coffee and thanks to M for all the cakes, then back to the pub for drink and buffet, all for £20, keep it up "Hitclays"
  11. Welcome Tinkerbelle, enjoyed our shoot today (I still think I gave you a disputable hit). I shot better after my gun arrived. We all had a huddle at the pub and decided you should hold a local meeting at your new place, after all, we would love to break-in the new SNOOKER TABLE !! We'll talk to your other-half, in to allowing you to buy a pump, missed mine today, but the Berretta shot well, just mucked-up on the first 2 traps, but got in to my stride later. Speak to you later about pigeon shooting, once I checked the weather. Jenners
  12. Just to let you all know, there's a clay shoot on Sunday at Beeston,Norfolk, see...... http://www.fairclaytargets.co.uk/ weather permitting it usually a good mornings shooting, great targets, great company and free buffet to boot
  13. Hi Ratman2, Your right, the first time out I just couldn't get it, but then it fell into place. The new pump has no bias, so it's a straight profile gun and I'm surprised, I'm acutually shooting better. Maybe it's a case of "aim, shoot and pump", without thinking. Anyway, if you get a chance of using a pump, have a go.
  14. Pump action & Silver Pigeon 111 went out to play today (Fairclay Targets had sporting traps (60 birds) & flush) great mornings shooting. Shot 42 at sporting traps with Silver pigeon and went mad with the pump on the flush. Yet again, several other shooter wanted a go with the pump. And one shooter was so impressed, she was seriousley considering buying one. I think we should start a poll for Hatsan pump/auto users. I find it a great utilitarian gun, built like the preverble "brick s@*t house" and becomming a great conversation piece.
  15. Yes, I think 2 pigeon Geoff will proberbly stick now, but looking forwards to next outing
  16. Hi everyone, never made a submission before, but just thought I would share my shooting day with you. I bought a Hatsan Pump action shotgun last Thursday, not sure I was doing the right thing, as I have never used such a gun before, but as I’m now getting into pigeon shooting and didn’t want to keep taking my treasured Silver Pigeon 111 out in the field all the time, I thought this would be the best alternative. I took it clay shooting today (Fair Clay Targets, Beeston. If you never been at this shoot, then you don’t know what your missing, 100 clays for £22, included is a buffet at the local pub). I was sure I would get a good ribbing from my shooting mates, things like, here comes 1 pigeon Geoff and he’s got a pump action, JESUS! Everyone run for it! Quite the opposite, everyone one wanted to look at it and several wanted to shoot it. And here’s the best bit, I shot a 66, which, believe it for me, is my best score for months
