Just found this thread... and what a random find it is
I have a dozen or so Dorset Naga seeds in a polythene bag in my freezer: any tips on these? More to the point, are they actually any good for anything other than homemade MACE?
Smig, got your PM.Egg, you want to know what to do with Dorset Naga seeds? Grow them, give the fruit to you mates and watch them suffer!
BWAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
more or less
I'm scared to even touch them without an NBC suit onI know this is a tad naughty but !!! Take one to the pub with you and when your mate goes to the toilet split the chillie and rub it around the top of his pint ,watch his face when he has a drink ,first you will see him start licking his lips ,then he will ask if your pint TASTES ok then he will start swearing ( like F------ Hell my lips are on fire )lastly he will start drinking like a fish and so it starts all over again......:yp: i found some sauce at asda recently - called "insanity", this stuff even carries a warning not to get it on your skin!
(try spreading a little on your mates pizza & see how it goes down! - nice on steak though...)
-
lack of pressure should be irrelivant if you just cock it (without loading a pellet!) - this should close the valve anyway (it works with all mine when they dump...). try counting how many `working` shots you get from a full tank & you'll have a much better idea thus avoiding the problem

ok, not sure if this link is already posted in this thread as i haven't read it all yet:
http://www.southdevonchillifarm.co.uk/shop/
i've found this to be a nice site for us chilli enthusiasts as they have some good instructions, a very good selection & above all - cheap

why not approach one of you shoot owners and ask them??
I did one last year with a few mates it was cracking fun
Les
difficult to ask at my own shoots at the moment as the two suitable ones have a lot of mixy about...
-
rabbit, pidgeon, anything else edible & legal - not looking for game shoots (a little expensive...)
-
B) Yes everthing but I just like dressing up
really??
anyway, i'm usually just in dpm jacket & cap with black or dpm combats & whichever dark or dpm t-shirt takes my fancy. mostly going for rabbits which respond to movement more than anything else, any other quarry is a bonus to me (especialy rats - they're smart!....)

gotta agree there - bsa ultra is a nice gun to use but poor on shots-per-fill & i personally don't like the filling probe either. aa s200 or s410 are good choices for precharge, as is the logun solo, or you could save a lot of cash & buy a decent springer such as a weirhauch hw95 (or similar) in .22

I've just posted something on here about insurance and this one caught my eye. I know a lot of shooters on here use 'business cards' to advertise their services when in fact they are part time amateurs (no offence intended but this is a fact). Now if you carry shooting insurance through membership of any of the shooting organisations READ THE SMALL PRINT as none of them cover you other than for recreational sport. Knowing insurance companies as I do it wouldn't surprise me if they used 'business cards' as a get out clause. Think on it!It is a complete and utter waste of time (and money) leaving a calling card with 99% of farmers today, do you really believe he will be able to find your card among the all the dust on his LR dashboard and in most cases, some unreliable numpty has probably been before you and left the farmer with some unforgettable experience which is precisely why he won't let you on in the first instance!!!!!!!!
i created my own cards for me & a friend using photoshop - they seem to work very well in conjunction with our other references from other sites, references also help a lot with people who have had bad experiences. with the insurance thing - we hold basa insurance knowing that we're note covered on the job, but it helps to have it anyway. does anyone know who does insure people who shoot for a business (surely councils / rentakill have insurance??)

does anyone know where i can take a small group (maybe 10 people) for a shooting weekend (either camping or staying at a lodge / b&?
-
has anyone noticed any mixy or flatflies around your area? flatflies are around the car colston area (bingham - newark), mixy has been moving around the same area in patches for some time & is also present from ruddington - loughborough (moving in waves)... just thought i'd let you know & would be interested to find where else they've been spotted...

pm sent...

:yp: all i do is hand over a copy of my permission to police central & inform them & the landowner / user when i'm going on site, this may save the police an unneccessary trip in the event of any reports as they can phone me & check my status, they can also phone the landuser for the same... all goes in my favour as i can also inform them of any tresspassers & get faster response...

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... aa s200 - fantastic gun..... (if they came in .brick calibre i reckon they'd still be on target!)

anyone willing to travel to nottingham city centre looking for an airgun shooting club?
send me a pm & i'll tell you all about one...
-
Thanks all - I tried googling the club Shootfirst and couldn't find it... Any chance of a link please?
Oh, and Rock City does still exist, usually go when I'm able, just a pity when it gets invaded by idiots who want to run round whilst people are trying to dance...
Gary H
welcome to the asylum
don't worry about the link to this site - if you want anymore info about the new handy shoot club just send me a pm & i'll tell you all about it...

the only reasonable air pistol worth considering for hunting is the crossman pump up pistols.Dont buy a new one as the quality is c**p-search out an early model in .22 with the metal breech cover and ask on the airgun bbs website for someone to replace the o-rings and check the power output-the model i think is a 1322 and they can be tuned way over the limit-they are also very accurate.
if you're thinking of doing this - make sure you fit a rifle stock to make it legal!!!

a couple of decent sites there, here's one i've been looking at for a while (not that i've bought anything.....yet )
-
any left?

unfortunately there will be no live targets (unless i get really annoyed ). furthermore, if i could include contact details within the link then i would put one there, but i can't
(sorry, i get what you mean about the link now.....half asleep & have to be up for work in a few hours )
