  1. Thanks for the quick responses. He has provisionally found his new home with a lovely couple who have a permanent presence at home and will work him. He is due to be collected tomorrow if this changes then I will get in touch with everyone in order that you contacted me. Thanks again, thats why this Forum is so great!
  2. PM me your phone number and I will send one. I am keen not to advertise him on looks alone. needless to say he is a very handsome wee man.
  3. I am urgently looking for a home for a young and very handsome little Cocker that a member of my staff has, erroneously, taken on. He is a Ginger(ish) single colour Cocker, he has a slight show head but a working stature. We do not know his line as my SSgt intervened and took him from someone else who was not doggy and was about to take him to battersea. But he has been vetted (yesterday, vaccinated and chipped) he has a clean bill of health. He is a very biddable little pup who shows all of the instincts you would expect. He needs a good home that knows what bringing up a young cocker is about! Our local working cocker expert has looked him over and while not an obvious prospect for a field trial championship he certainly has potential to work. We are based in Sandhurst, Surrey and he needs to be rehomed ASAP. Pls call me on 07966095112 Dan

  5. Sorry Sold straight away for the asking! I think it was too cheap :-(
  6. I am selling my VW T4 Caravelle Campervan in order to set myself back up with a shooting wagon and all the kit to start stalking now I have my quals and land sorted. As it is the end of the summer I am expecting to take a hit on the Camper and she is priced Very Low so someone is going to get a real bargain (just look on VW T4 Forum or Ebay to see what one of this spec normally goes for). I would be interested in PX with a 4x4 nothing flash just an honest truck or a .308 rifle. Please read on for an extensive full specification (pics to follwo soon). Thanks for looking, Dan £5,995 1996 2.0 Manual Professionally converted by RJS with further work carried out by myself. This van has had thousands of £s put into it. LEZ compliant! Parts that come with the van but I haven’t yet fitted: Full alarm system including central locking kit Reversing Sensor Kit Mechanical: The van has about 220,000 miles on the clock but comes with a big chunk of history which goes to show how well looked after it is. In fact I would be very warey of a “low mileage” VAN! I have maintained her regardless of cost as this has been my daily driver and the vehicle my family relied upon for holidays so no risks were taken with reliability. I have had no problems. I bought her from a New Zealand couple who had spent 9 months driving all over Europe in her so she was very well maintained by them also. I had a 1.9TD T4 but it was noisey, dirty from the diesel and problematic, I went for the 2.0 petrol as it is the low compression version of the Golf GTI 8V engine which means it is super reliable and remarkably efficient (35mpg!) but unlike the diesels it has 84bhp so goes really well for a van. These are lesser known bargains! If the price is right I am happy to put a new MOT on her for the buyer. If you buy this van you are buying into a great lifestyle and can start your adventures straight away! This is ideal for a small family as the rear seat is a proper M1 Euro standard tested seat unlike a lot of others out there, it cost a small fortune but I couldn’t live with myself if my kids were hurt in an accident by a sub-standard seat. The Aquaskin (looks like alacantra) material that the upholstery is made from is amazing! You can literally write on the seat in permanent marker and then wipe it off with a damp cloth! Needless to say the upholstery looks brand new, it costs more than leather by the metre but well worth it if you surf, mountain bike or have kids!. The bodywork has signs of use, someone keyed the drivers side which has been sealed to stop rust but the paint is not an exact match. The body however is very solid with no structural rust (as many of them have). In summary this is a well spec’d reliable and honest T4 Camper with all of the extras that you need to go camping anywhere in the world, I will even through in a bike rack! This is a bargain that I will be sad to sell however our circumstances have changed and I need to release some cash. my no 07966095112
  7. Appreciate she is not a Gundog; however as an active member of my local shooting community I know the power of this forum. Our Cavalier KCS went missing from our secure garden on Monday at Mathews Rd which is the Officers Patch outside of the Royal Military Academt Sandhurst. After canvassing the local area, an extensive facebook campaign by my wife and help from local police she is still not found. The police suspected she had been stolen but at 17yrs old I cannot imagine what for! Then over the weekend we had two unreported sightings of her in the Branksome Hill and Gower Park area of College Town, Sandhurst (several miles and main roads away). We think she may have been taken as at first glance she looks like a puppy, but under closer inspection was dumped. If anyone has any informationa a substantial reward will be paid as this little dog has been through thick and thin and the thought of losing her like this doesn't rub well. Her name is Rosie and she is a Blenheim (Ginger and White) King Charles Spaniel, she is fairly skinny and has a skin condition. She also has very few teeth. When she was spotted she was desrcibed as being wet, bedraggled and scared. Any help is greatly appreciated. Dan
  8. Hi, I am starting to look into our next dog. After a great deal of research I am drawn to Teckels. Is there anyone in or near Surrey who works Teckels on birds? I would be very grateful if i could pop along one day to see them at work and have a chat? I have access to rough shooting and beat on some local shoots where dogs that are not afraid of thick cover do well. I know "get a cocker" but I just don't like them! I am also not overly bothered about the retrieve. I also have access to a little stalking which I hope to develop with the right k9 companion. Thanks in advance Dan

  16. So, The Wife has been made redundant and being resourceful decided to go into business for herself. Having vet nursing experience and equestrian qualifications she has set up a Dog Walking, Pet Sitting and Horse Care business called Country Tails. We are aware of other dog walkers in the area however; She has competitively priced her services, is fully NARPS registered and extensively insured (unlike a lot in our area) so genuinely unique. We are also advertising the fact that she is working dog friendly (i.e. won't ruin your training) and has a fully converted van. Can anyone think of any other good ideas to help get the business off the ground? All advice appreciated and taken on face value. Thanks :-) P.S. if anyone needs her services she works in the A30 corridor from camberley to Englefield Green including Chobham, Lightwater, Bagshot, Deepcut, Ascot, Sunningdale and surrounding. Sorry shameless plug!
  17. SOLD SOLD SOLD to Geoff Pending the Usual
  18. SOLD SOLD SOLD to geoff pending the usual
  19. Great Condition 300TDI Discovery ES, 150k miles, 6 Months MOT (1995) This is a great Disco I have had no problems with it whatsoever and I have owned her for a few years now. She has an uprated Intercooler and Silicone Hose kit so she returns great MPG. She will cruise in excess of the speed limit on the motorway all day long without skipping a beat. She is a joy to own and drive. You will not be disappointed. The previous owner fitted new arches and a re-inforced boot floor and removed EGR valve. I have fitted a new power steering pump. Otherwise she has needed nothing more than a regular service (which she always gets). The ES Model has: Grey Leather Interior (marked but still presentable/no rips) Elec Windows and mirrors (one mirror is cracked) Double Elec Sunroofs (work perfectlt and don't leak) Alloys Tow Pack and Electrics Headlight Guards. I have also fitted: JVC CD player and USB player (Nice Stereo) White Halogen Headlights with 18LED Side Lights (vast improvement!) Discreet Pioneer active sub (can be left or taken out, this is not a rude boy bass box, but helps to fill the massive interior with balanced and good quality sound) New rear light clusters Highline Brake Light. All madifications have been done to make her a little more modern but tasteful. She always gets admiring remarks from fellow country folk and landy lovers alike. Bad Bits: the usual bits of bubbling here and there, the worst is in the bottom corner of the rear door, but its all superficial, the chassis is spot on! I am reluctantly letting her go (god knows I looked long enough for her)because my wife has been made redundant and we need to re-prioritise vehicles. At Last Images, these are not the ones i wanted to put up as she is filthy in these pictures, but the closs ups show how solid she is underneath the superficial. pic1 pic2 pic3 -perfect boot floor pic4 -great outer arches SOLD SOLD SOLD - To Geoff Pending the Usual. She will come with a custom bike rack.
  20. Have you a spare few brace availible for three guns? Pls get in touch. Thanks Dan
  21. PLEASE NOTE THE .410 is now reduced to £80
  22. Pics to follow shortly, got home in the dark yesterday so pics didn't come out well. P.S. its 1995. ES Model.
  23. It's time for my Disco to be replaced with a smaller estate. Wanted to see if anyone is looking to upgrade to a Disco. It is metallic marron with: 16" Anthracite Grey alloys (5x), Grey Leather Interior, Elec Windows, 2 Sunroofs (all working), Elec wing mirrors (one is cracked), Remote Locking, Immob and alarm, CD/USB/MP3 Player. Dog Guard, Original Boot liner Tyres all good including spare, Tow Pack Boot floor and rear arches are new and re-inforced - chassis is very solid. New front UJ and Power Steering Pump. New Belts in last 1k miles Mileage 164k with lots of history. Only Bad Bits: The rear door card was ripped so I have replaced with a piece of MDF that I intended to cover and fit bespoke brackets to. Rear speaker quarter panels have been re-covered badly (£10 on ebay to replace just not bothered me enough to do). Has the odd bit of bubbly paint in the odd nook and cranny. This is a really good example of a 300, I have had a few in my time and this is the best (honestly) The previous owner fitted an aftermarket Intercooler and Silicon Hose kit so she runs really nicely, strong pull through all gears and returns remarkably good economy. Is T+T and ready to drive away. I really wouldn't sell her if it wasn't that I have a new job requiring lots of miles on the m'way. I would value her at £2k all day long. I really really nice disco to look at and drive. (pics to follow soon) What am I after? A diesel (maybe LPG) Estate.....simples!
