  1. It's a very satisfying job when the weather is right, not so fun when it's raining and blowing gale though.
  2. Thanks for all the comments. Yeah it would have been nasty if the felling went wrong but you learn your abilities and I was confident it was going to go where I wanted it to go. On the first fell my escape route was fine, plenty of room to shift if I needed to.
  3. Ha, I prefer goose shooting to. Been out a few times this season but still not had a day like last year. Work seems to have taken over this year
  4. Yeah I no but the chains & bars are more expensive, you get less sharpens per chain and it's never as sharp as done by a file.
  5. Just struggle climbing in gloves. Save yourself some money and buy a file, your chain will last much longer and you will get it sharper Glad you like it, I can confirm no cameras were harmed in the making of this.
  6. Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it
  7. No mate the battery saws still have a long way to go in my opinion.
  8. Thanks, makita are big with the bigger saws 75cc & above but I wouldn't bother with the smaller ones. There a dollar saw, makita bought them
  9. Been working on this for a while now. Bit cheese but I'm happy with it. Hope you like it
  10. Saw plenty but in the wrong place. Will try again next week
  11. Approval has been granted, heading out in a hrs time
