Thanks for all the comments. Yeah it would have been nasty if the felling went wrong but you learn your abilities and I was confident it was going to go where I wanted it to go. On the first fell my escape route was fine, plenty of room to shift if I needed to.

Ha, I prefer goose shooting to. Been out a few times this season but still not had a day like last year. Work seems to have taken over this year

Yeah I no but the chains & bars are more expensive, you get less sharpens per chain and it's never as sharp as done by a file.

Just struggle climbing in gloves. Save yourself some money and buy a file, your chain will last much longer and you will get it sharper Glad you like it, I can confirm no cameras were harmed in the making of this.

Thanks, makita are big with the bigger saws 75cc & above but I wouldn't bother with the smaller ones. There a dollar saw, makita bought them
