It's a brushed cotton material but does not state waterproof, although on the flip side of the label it says to hang dry when wet.

Truth of the matter is i don't know. It's not padded like the Montana but it is heavy, sorry can't say more and it's not labeled which is a strange one. It was bought for me as a pressie but been sat in the wardrobe for a few months. If i can find out I'll post an update. Cookie
