    Help with XP

Could be anything, but if you havent installed anything recently it sounds like you might have a virus / trojans or spyware.... Best thing to do is download Spybot search and destroy Spybot install it then reboot before you run it..... (else it wont find anything!!) Then download : Adaware - Adaware Run both packages and zap everything they find...... You then need to get your self a good anti virus package and upadate and do a scan with that also.... The best I have found is McAfee SBE but costs you can try AVG free edition which should do the job..... AV Install and run....... NOTES..... Do it in this order as some viruses / trojans fight the install of Anti Virus so you need to remove these first. Also after you run each package I always reboot the computer and run them again...... before rebooting - installing the next and do the same again - run them twice each (with reboot in the middle!) After you have cleaned up your system its wise to secure it else it will happen again. I always use hardware firewalls BUT you can install Zone alarm which will help somewhat! Zone alarm free version depending on your PC it should take a couple of hours to do. Best of luck UK Guy
  4. I got a set before Christmas - and I was gob smacked when it arrived. I have been looking for a good plain suit for ages and there are loads out there to choose from. I bit the bullet and ordered one for the sake of £150 - most places you wont get the coat for this..........!! Quality is as stated before unbelievable for the price! Highly recommended. UK Guy

  9. Hi guys, Does anybody know any professional pigeon shooting outfits I can contact regarding some pigeon shooting in Staffordshire / west midlands I have a Very good friend coming to stay for a few days which is an avid pigeon shooter and want to surprise him with a good days decoying. We use to shoot a lot together many years ago, and haven’t been with him out for many years (10+). The problem I have is all the land I used to shoot over is now housing estates! and haven’t got any were decent to take him. I don’t mind paying a decent fee for a good day. I have been shooting for over 30 years and a BASC member. Any clues who I can contact........ I used to see some outfits advertised in the mags a few years ago but **** law I can seem to find anyone when I need one... Thanks Jack

  11. clanchief, Go and have fun..... 1 days shooting feels like 1 week on the beach! - so you should be totaly de-stressed!!.. Let us know how you get on.. Uk Guy
  12. Before I start to rabble ...... Hi everyone - great site! clanchief Your story defiantly hits a nerve - I used to have land, land and more land, which was owned by 3 brothers - who was great friends with my dad. As you have correctly stated the only guaranteed thing in life is death (as morbid as this sounds) - the rest of it is what you make of it! - Well over 25 years me and my great Dad who sadly passed away a few months ago enjoyed shooting over 3000 acres of land - rabbit, partridge, pheasant, woodies, hares, you name it we had it...... Sadly now the 3 brothers have all passed away and now I live on an housing estate where I used to shoot over when I was a kid (which is not that long ago!) - Not having the ability to grab the gun and go for a weekend wonder has been horrible to say the least. Now I have to plan my shooting driving sometimes hours to shoot a few woodies, or several hours to go stalking - Shooting land does not come easy - £90 is a steal - Grab it and enjoy - I only wish I could get some local land close to home and I would be willing to pay 10 times that amount just for the thought of being able to get up and go when I wanted. Now that Im a Dad I want my son to have the great times shooting I used to have with my Dad.... You will regret it later if you dont grab that land now before some one else does!
