A fantastic opportunity is presented for the right candidate to learn and develop their skill set whilst gaining appropriate training on the job covering all aspects of the wild bird shoot. The Cranborne Estate comprises a mixture of farming, forestry and property interests and is run in- hand. The in-hand farm is approx. 2,500 acres, the larger part of which forms the base for the main partridge beat. The owner, with his agent and farm manager, takes an active interest in the shoot. The successful candidate will enter a 1-year fixed term contract with potential for future extension. Apprenticeships or further educational training will be supported if applicable. The position is available to start from Mid-February, but willing to negotiate for the right person. An attractive renumeration package offered dependent upon experience with accommodation and kennels available. Thank you. It's a great gun. On first of only three occasions I used it, I shot a left and a right at driven ducks with my first two shots!!
