I haven't got a terrier but I would love to join in on a bit of rat hunting I'm from Midlands :-) it might spark me to start it , I have never done any terrier work that's the reason I'd love to get out with someone :-)

I have a great team ferrets, dog and hardly any rabbits can anyone help will travel many thanks I'm insured I don't use shotgun ferreting

I've got permission but no birds on it ATM where bouts u from then mate

I use aa but can't see any difference :-)

I seen a really sad sight :( two scrap men was pouring massive drums of oil into my local brook but I was trying to get the reg but it was taped up and they did not give 2 ****es y oh y and the gates of my permission are always having mattresses and sofas thrown there

Hi my dog isn't a gun dog but a lurcher and whilst shooting I worry about his ears because I'm sure its affected them already does anyone use anything for there protection ? I don't want a deaf dog ?

Hi guys I have a rotary but find using it scares the birds off ?? Not all but a fair few hence I haven't taken it out for a long time .I was told always have it out the back of your pattern and to the side ? I'm using a turbo flapper from as decoys and must say easier to carry and has the pulling power !!! I might just bag the rotary off and get another flapper , ATM I'm using the flapper on a long net pole tapped to it over standing barley , what's your opinions keep the rotary ? Are they any good or is a flapper better ? I know its down to the individual but if you comment I can build a picture cheers :-)

I travelled to the Peak District to see my mate and go for a wonder with the guns we had a bog to walk hedges and coppice and a duck pond for the evening it was a nice clear still day , after a quick cuppa we made our way down to his permission, whilst driving down there were many pheasants feeding and wondering around we entered the field and saw 12 pheasants by the coppice so our plan was to hit this last . We got the guns out the slip dog out of crate and trudged down to the bog , Jason my friend said we're after snipe here. I didn't know wat they looked like so I said u take the first shot . We didn't have to walk far and his cocker penny put 2 up he fired and I did but missed , I thought ok I know wat there like now . Onwards we went 20 yards apart dog in front and flash ! Two lifted I dropped one with the first round and didn't get chance for the second . I was chuffed to bits my first snipe We walked then to the first old hedge they all were blackthorn with oak and holly in them with drainage ditches in them . Jason told me to stand 20yards out and over the otherside of the hedge we will keep a line and send the dog in the hedge ok I said what are we after ? Woodcock, pheasant rabbit ok. So we are walking down he shouts WOODCOCK !!! I'm looking my side and it flashes through tight to the trees and hedge I shot but too late because it was uphill and penny was in line with the bird . We walked a few more hedges and a cock pheasant clucked away chased by 2shots of lead by Jason but he got away . We stopped and Jason told me to stand by this old oak tree on a t junction of hedges he said ill walk the hedge up anything breaks cover for the coppice let em have it . No pressure So he started his walk and a woodcock whipped up and was making its way to the coppice I followed shot and made contact before I Evan had time to take the gun away from the falling bird it was passed by another bang another contact YES I got a right and a left my first and second woodcock ever at the same time Jason was gobsmacked as I was lol the day carried on as good I ended up with 7 mallard 2 teal 2 woodcock 1 snipe and 1 big fat smile and a memory that will last a life time

True to say my pal is a pest controller trade his job and lively hood comes from this and he was disgusted to hear I paid cuz it's doing him out of a job and I'm paying to pest control bassically I got a slapped bum from him

Not moaning bout the **** day I sucked that up it was the fact of the txt to a pal saying I had a great day .... Not moaning anymore jus being lied to is not nice especially paying to be lied to I ent saying there has been big bags or he ok but y lie about numbers I could of got more than that on my own permission I'm not stuck for land to sit on lol
