Any shoots not too far from chesterfield looking for beaters?

The guy I spoke to on the phone seemed a really happy chap and made you feel welcomed. Tbh he did say don’t go buying all the gear till you’ve been a few times just fishing waders Or even just wellies and a gun. Just for the sake of a couple of quid I’d rate not worry damaging my current gun.

On the marshes at Spalding or near Spalding anyway

Hoping to go more regularly then become a member next time they are taking new members on.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I’ve got a Miroku mk38 that I use for clay shooting. I’m going to Spalding so I’m assuming it’ll be coastal. I might just do that then what cartridges do you recommend? like I say this is totally new to me so any help much appreciated. 👍

Thanks everyone. That’s what I’ve been thinking most people here work full time I'm assuming and still keep dogs. Her indoors has been wanting one for the last two years. So I think this next year we’ll go for it.

Been thinking a lot lately about getting a pup to train but unsure with working full time. What do people do with there dogs when at work all day? I have a Partner that’s self employed and her salon isn’t far so she could pop in and check on the dog but I feel is that enough. I’ve had working dogs all my life when living with my parents but my dad was lucky enough to take his dogs to work with him everyday or my mum was at home full time then as well.

I’m hoping to go on a few guided flights later this year for the first time! Does anyone from Derbyshire way shoot there?

Yea they are plastic and they are old cartridges eley hp pigeon don't think they even make them anymore also they have been stored in my garage so could be damp would this affect them?

Hi just wondering if anyone could help me come home from pigeon shooting and set to cleaning my gun and I carnt seen to get the barrels clean just after where the cartridge sits I have scrubbed it with wire brush still no luck just wondering if anyone could help me out doing my head in as I like to keep my guns clean. Hi all I have recently moved out of my mums house and I was just wondering if I could still keep my gun cabinet at her house even tho my gun licence will be adressed to my new house?

Spoke to the fire armes department my licence has expired and that also said it won't be till October for a new one 😡😡😡😡😡

Can I still go clay shooting why my gun licence I s being renewed?

Cheers, only ever had it twice and we ended up with armed officers out but they said we was doing nothing wrong that was three years ago tho ha. I was just asking as I go on my own a lot now so now I no what to do on this situation. Thanks

What should I do if out pigeon shooting and someone approaches me or is watching me that does not agree in shooting ?
