Either Trulock, Or Simpsons Of Newmarket. I Know theyre further out, but they know their stuff, and have severeal very reasonably priced guns! DO NOT go to Anglia Arms. They Are Over Priced and know NOTHING!

Try Returning for an exchange at the Dealer.... There's no point buying a new one if you might be able to get the refund. Its also possible, they may be able to send it back to maker for repair?

Please Refer To BASC Website, But:
I think you can "borrow" his shotguns for 72 hours and keep them in your cabinet, without informing the police.
however, i am not 100% sure.

15 is the lower age limit to buy shotgun carts but you are entitled to sell to whatever agegroup you like.
Im afraid kind sir, that you are wrong. The legal age to buy cartridges is 17. This is the same as buying a firearm or shotgun. However, at 15, you may be in the possesion of a shotgun and ammunition, unsupervised as long as you are deemed safe by the landowner.
Visit BASC for exact details.

Two shoots that i know the rough returns of.
The first one, the shoot i reared the poults for. We released around 2500 and struggled to shoot 900. So thats 36%. Plus a few partridge, and duck.
The second is one i hold quite close to my heart. Its the one i first went beating on. They put down 1300 birds, both pheasants and partridge. They have shot 1045 this season, for 3400 shots. Thats an 80% return with a 3.25 : 1 shots ratio!

Okay, sounds good to me. Ill let you know how it all goes. Ill try without a net first, then if it works, ill stick without. There are plenty of good trees i think, so ill stick under one of those! I may go out decoying first, around the farm, but we all draw woods from a hat, so i cant gaurentee that the place i will be decoying will be the place i will be roosting. Cheers Gents,

Ok, so i have some roost shooting every saturday now. There will be a group of us in all the woods in the area, hopefully to keep them moving. My question to you is, do i put a hide up? or find a good tree? And how can i tell where they land if its getting dark in the woods? Any tricks would be handy.

Try putting some tape on the left hand lense of your shooting glasses. not a big bit, just enough so that when you have the gun up and are looking at the target before shooting, you are relying on your right eye. this helps because you can still see the target coming in with both eyes, but only the right one when pulling the trigger.

If your going to try the maize route, make sure you put millet down the edges and possible in between also. This will help hold more birds as it will be warner in the bottom of the maize, and there will be food for them until the maize starts to fall over.
