Because I had shells out without dippas and some with dippas and more pigeons went to the dippas,could be coincidence,but I think it was the dippas.

Job to say but some were landing in trees about 200 yds away and after a few minutes they would come for a look,at their peril....l'll take the GoPro next time.

In my limited experience I have always found that corvids will spot where a pigeon Won't.....

No I should of done,next time.

Purchased some of these from Denny tried them out today over rape and they certainly pulled in the pigeons,set up normal shells and the dippas I put about 15 yds away,the Dippas certainly worked drawing more pigeons than the normal shells,will be buying some more if these.

All Handheld radios work on LOS (line of sight) this includes UHF and VHF,you would be very lucky this time of the year to get 10 mile range on any handheld,you also have to take into account the curvature of the earth as this will affect range. In the summer time with a high pressure system the signals can bounce and greatly increase the range of any handheld but you do need the high pressure.
