  1. Only one. Not emgrating to Canada when I had the chance. Hey ho!
  2. There is very little missing IMO. I realise some " experts" like to try and make out that +150m -300m shooting in your average uk climate conditions is majorly complicated. Believe me Its not! Get your range judgement there or there abouts and its relatively simple! One of the great plus's for the .22-250 shooting 55-50 grn bullets and the .243 shooting 55-65 grn bullets is their PBR performance. Besides stick a bt bullet from either in a 75mm circle on a fox and its a dead fox.
  3. Shredded cardboard horse bedding. Warm, helps dry them off after a getting wet, not dust, not little visitors, and easily recycled either in the muck heap or on the bonfire.
  4. Have you got any "travellers" around you? Been told they don't like being called the "P" word...............
  5. I use one of those blue ex mango pickle drums with the screw on lids to which I attached the seat pad from a round swivel type bar stool.. I keep some feed sacks in it for putting the shot birds in at the end of the day. At the end of the session I spin the lid off and use it to bung all the rubbish in spent shell, cartridge boxes, sandwich wrappers etc. I must of had it for 15 years. The wide base stops it from sinking, its got carrying handles and you can wash it out with a hose.
  6. I'd bag everything. We buy freezer bags from the wholesalers like Scoobies Direct for about £25 per 1000
  7. Pete Grab, twist and flick has always been my choosen method of dispatching pigeons. Works every time. It might take a novice half a dozen birds to master the technique but once mastered it never forgotten.
  8. Just my 2 penneth. If you realy want to improve at a given discipline then a CPSA instructor would be your best option. If you just want to improve generally then either a BASC coach or CPSA instructor could assist. Be wary of top competition shots, not all are good instructors/coachs. You pays your money.......
  9. Forgive the blonde essex bird moment...... but you replaced the case with what, and was the added on/off switch to replace the one on the lamp?
  10. Many thanks for the kind offer and the advice.
  11. Total post count might have a lot to do with it
  12. Is it an easy job to fit one of these controlers into the supply wiring rather then install it in the lamp tself? I ask as I use 3 different lamps at differnt times.
  13. A wiper speed control unit from your local car breakers and a trip to somewhere like Maplins should see you with everything you need. Or a friendly auto electrician.
