A nicely made UK quilted jacket/Gillet which features corduroy panels on each shoulder and corduroy edged pockets. It has a tartan inner lining and is very warm. Sizing measures approx. 42 across the chest. I'm quite new to all this as well. I actually purchased a new Hatsan Under and Over in wood. It has an adjustable stock for length so it lets you taylor it to fit nicely. They also do a synthetic version, that has an adjustable comb too. I bought mine adjusted it until I was happy, it came with 5 chokes, steel proofed and because you can adjust it, it is pretty saleable as a second hand gun, as it'll fit many others. I love mine and wont be selling it. It is definitely not the most fancy gun you can get, but very functional. There are a lot of Hatsan Haters out there, but I have put around 3500 cartridges through it this year and not had one single problem. You will have change from your £800 too, shoot it for a year and lose £75 if you sell it on next year. Goodluck in finding the right one for you.

I also have a black synthetic forend. It is a Choate one. I bought it with a job lot of mossberg parts but sadly it doesnt fit my 500 as I have a large 7 3/4 inch slide tube. The forend I have is for a 6 1/2 inch slide. This is picture of one below and can be had from Midway UK for £30.35 including postage. My one looks better than their stock photo so as new, and you can have it for £20 posted if your interested. Before you buy anything though, check the length of the slide tube.
