I notified the appropriate police force when the cabinet was moved and the Cabinet was inspected by that force FEO and my certificate is registered at that address. It was moreso an enquiry about whether me predominantly living away from the cabinet while I am working would be an issue.

My SGC is up for renewal shortly and I'd thought I'd ask a quick query on here. I originally applied for my SGC in one force area where I was renting a house and working in the local area. After I finished that contract I moved the cabinet to my fathers house in another force area to move in with him while I looked for another job. I started working some short term contracts while renting a room in a house that is not suitable for me to move the cabinet to around 2 hours from my fathers house in another force area. My contract has been made more long term so I am now in the process of looking for more permanent lodgings near to my place of work. However, my certificate is coming up for renewal, and I'm wondering if there will be issues with my cabinet and certificate being registered in a separate force area to my place of work / lodgings and whether it would be easier to give it up for now and reapply when I've sorted out a more permanent housing situation?

I live in a rented house at the moment. Landlord was fine with it and even showed me where I could affix it to some exposed concrete with no plaster / carpet on it!

I currently have my cabinet installed in a house I rent. I am moving out of this house, and had been anticipating moving into my fathers house for a while, and as such transferring my Cabinet there. However I have been offered short term employment (~3 months) and will be instead lodging in a room about 2 hours away from my fathers house. (My dad does not currently hold a shotgun certificate). Essentially the question I wish to ask is, will there be a problem with me transferring my cabinet into my father's house and making this the address on my license, while I temporarily work and live elsewhere? Obviously I will have the only keys and the cabinet will be fixed out of view, house alarm etc. My father lives in a different force area to the one which I currently live in and which issued my certificate. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I have a late 90s Urika gold field. It is mechanically brilliant, and the wood on it is splendid. The only problem I have with it is that some of the silver background from the silver and gold game scene is chipping around the edges.Fits me perfectly and I don't think I'd ever trade it for another gun.

I have a mobilchoke 28" barrel Urika Gold field, made in...... 1996 or 1999 can't remember which. Absolutely love it, really light, barely any felt recoil with it. Happily cycles 21G clay carts if you really want it too. Since I've owned it I've never had a Jam, and it's relatively easy to disassemble and clean. As with most semis it is very long though, even with the 28 inch barrel it's longer than my 30" guns, so as previously mentioned it may be rather long to swing around, if you can get it in your hands and see how it feels you should be able to figure out if it's right for you.

Okay, pretty sure now I've just been an idiot and over reacted to nothing. Checked out a load of review videos of different models of Nighteater and they all have the same numbering on the Windage adjustment. It seems to be a feature perhaps. Also, the numbers I was looking at an image for the 8-32 model rather than the 10-50 model for the zoom numbers due to a mix up on the Nikko website (Oopsy). Sent an email to nikko to confirm but pretty sure it's actually a legitimate nikko now.... After I sent a message making me sound like an obnoxious bell end.

Just received a nighteater that I bought through an advert on a classifieds site. Annoyingly I'm 99% sure its a fake. Things that are wrong with it. 1) No sidewheel came with it 2) The zoom numbers are wrong, should be 10 12 14 16 18, this one goes 10 12 15 18 3) The windage adjustment numbers should say 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8, rather than 1 2 3 4 4 3 2 1. 4) The logo is off centre on the scope tube. 5) Elevation turret shakes while windage turret is snug. 6) It's missing the Nikko crest on the parallax focus. Question is what can I do? Stupidly I paid by bank transfer rather than paypal like I usually would for this because the chap seemed genuine, so can't claim anything back that way. Shall I just call him and tell him I want a refund and I'll send him the scope back? Paid £160 for it posted... which is less than they're currently going for on Ebay... thought I was being proper clever, evidentially just been a mug.
