  1. Great tip, next time I get a chance ratting am going to try it. Simple but I bet very effective
  2. That was the review I read by the way http://www.daystate.com/images/reviews/Buckmaster-AGW-0510b.pdf
  3. They look really nice I've just been reading a review about it, I like daystate rifles and haven't heard of the buckmaster. From the review if sounds a really nice gun the devils in the detail with this rifle. One thing I was told off the guy at my local gun shop when I was looking at the grey shadow, its expensive be cause its limited edition and told me if i was wanting to use it as a hunting gun then money could be spent better it was still a daystate gun air wolf if I remember correctly (I may be wrong tho) .Daystate have a big following and some people do collect them so hold value well. Price when I looked on google when looking for reviews ads where about £900-£1200 IMO that's a lot money when you can get the standard gun new for less.
  4. Cheers for all the welcomes people Yeah it's shame am to far, I liked the plastic stock gun, I just fancied the wood when I seen it.was going for the plastic stock tho first That's good to hear that's it busy, had images of me on my tod, most times I live in jarrow mate just near the Tyne tunnel south tyneside side
  5. Yeah it's for a air rifle (hw97) cheers for the response, its always best to get a review off someone using a bit of kit rather than reading the website blurb. Sounds good about the red filter not spooking them as well. Looks good mounted on your rifle as well, not big and cumbersome like some. My rifle isn't the lightest as is so smaller size but packing a punch is great
  6. First off sounds like a good first night time shooting trip i was wondering about The tracer Ledray GL4 you have. Is it the red one or the white with a filter fitted? I have just been looking at these on a website (not sure if you can mentioned sites on here) and was u sure what to get. Won't be for a while as just starting out, but like to have a idea of kit (so I know what to save for)
  7. Hello people am Karl, am a novice returning to shooting. I am interested in air rifles mainly but also have my eyes on a shot gun down the line . I have a crossman ratcatcher used years ago for ratting I have just got myself a new rifle HW97KT wooden stock. So I will be heading up to Steve smith shooting ground to rid the world of some evil paper squares. If anyone uses SSG let me know good days to go, bit boring shooting alone or if anyone knows another range to shoot let me know. I will be get used to my rifle then I am going to try to maybe a local permission if possible as I know they are rare these days.
