  1. Yeah it was dry as a bone....the rape isn't very high though compared to some I've seen
  2. Hi all Whilst out shooting at the weekend we realised that we was getting a lot of unburned power in our barrells. The barrells where literally caked the full length with yellow flakes. We was using gamebore clear pigeons, 32g plastic wad. A while back I watched a vid of George sugared saying this happens if the cartridges are damp. Has anyone else experienced this and if so how did they cure it. Thanks Mark
  3. I think it will be too trev. Deffo a great spot for the pigeons.!
  4. Another good day on the rape with montycristo and trev195858
  5. Between Risley and stavo. The wind was crazy nate but we where sat with our back to it. I couldn't believe how many where coming into the decoys. Should have had a load more but was trying out another gun and couldn't hit a barn door with it. We didn't have a minute without them coming in
  6. Not bad for a few hours on rape in derby. Had between 40 and 50 in total but a few couldnt be retrieved.

  10. So I tale it that you don't personally ask questions on here as you already know the answers.
  11. Ok I appreciate your point and thanks for the reply. But the reason I asked and possibly the reason why everyone ask questions on forums is to get people's views and experiences, preferably to aid me.
  12. Hi everyone. I was just wondering if your allowed to shoot foxes at night with a shotgun?. Someone told me that your not allowed to shoot shotguns at night. Thanks Mark
  13. 1100, great gun, great quality, all round brilliant gun
  14. This is the same as me mate Annoying isn't it !!!!!
  15. Hi mate. I have a similar problem with inconsistant eye dominence. Sometimes when I pick the gun up its perfect, other times I see down the left side, however I can actualy switch between them whilst looking down the barell. Its wierd and really offputting. I brought the eye correction bead for about £20 and I find that this works really well. It works by only lighting up when you are looking directly down the barrel therefore making the correct eye focused. The trick is to not look at the bead but look straing past it to what your shooting and it lines up perfect. Hope this helps
  16. When the second person fits the tape what do they have to look for. Do they simpley lone the bead up with your pupil???
  17. That's basically like saying. " I wanna but it but I'm gonna borrow it for month to see if I like it, oh and if I brake it in that time you can have it back. I'd have told them to**** right off cheeky *****
  18. That's what I though mate. I just wasn't sure if it was refering to the barrels or something else
  19. Hi I have a Remington 1100 fixed choke and I was wondering if anyone knows how to identify what the barrell is choked at. There are various numbers and markings on the barrell, one saying "MOD". Does this simply mean that its modified or is this marking for something else? Also does anyone know how to age the gun. I have read some info on the web about ageing it off some numbers on the barrel, however this isn't the original barrell as I changed for a different one without the compensatory on when I brought it. There is no serial number on the barell, only on the action Thanks
  20. Looks good mate. Where did you get the leather from?
  21. Yeah I like that too. Although I've heard its a pain when reloading as you have to push that silver lever before it lets you load up. In sure this wont be q proble though. I never thought about using the existing one, night give it a go
