    Five words

    The dumping ground of Europe
  6. Super comp Pro skeet 9.5 for skeet, Blue Diamonds and White Golds for all else, but had a go with Black Diamond steel last week, nice, crisp cartridge with no problem at 60yds, GMK have confirmed that Beretta have no problem with steel being used (not with more than half choke), going to try some White Gold pro steel next and then I'll decide which ones I'll be using for everyday from now on!
  7. Cat = pet (bit like a DOG) mink, fox etc = vermin, please say you know the difference
  8. One thursday night a friends family get concerned when their cat fails to return, Friday the same, on the Saturday their little girl goes looking for her pet that she's known all her life, unfortunately she found it, by all accounts it came across a 12g at close range, she couldn't tell for sure it was hers as its head was missing and it was covered in blood so she carried it home to her parents, they said explaining that it was her pet was the second hardest thing they had to do, the first being having to listen to a 4yr old sob herself to sleep for fortnight, now being 16 she has a healthy distrust and contempt for anyone with a gun or a love of shooting. I'm not passing judgement, just asking that some of you think about the bigger picture.......Rant off.
  9. I dont think chokes make that much difference on a skeet field, but when the chokes have skeet etched on them its one less thing to worry about, and as most of my misses seem to be caused by a lack of confidence, its gotta help, saying that smoking the clay with 3/4 choke on peg 4 can put the others off. But like someone said tonight "smoking um dont make tick any bigger" Should have kept my gob shut, wheels came off tonight, 21+23, it was the sun, honest! 600 quid for a MX8!! trigger assembly is worth about that
  10. After shooting 88/100 at reg.skeet shoot I had comments about what fixed chokes I had in the Perazzi and that a more open choke may help my scores, just the excuse I needed!. 2 wks ago I bought a multichoked DT10, what a cracking piece of kit, love it to bits already, just feels right if you know what I mean. So how does it shoot, going from shooting around 22-23 with only 1 straight to the Perazzi's credit, 24/25 first round the day I bought it, then last Fri 25/25, Sat 98/100(75 straight), last night 49/50, in fact since I got it 236/250 at skeet, god I love this gun......cheap Perazzi anyone?

    Jokes

Sorry, but not wishing to offend anyone, all these "jokes" do seem to push the reason for "general discussion" to the bottom of the page, also a few "jokes" and comments are a little left of PC, not so good in this day and age...............I'll get me coat

    P'D OFF

420 mile round trip to look at a shotgun described as "very good" condition, pile of poo, why cant assistants be honest when describing an item you are travelling such distances too see, waste of shooting time and petrol (17mpg ), well not quite, called in at Ian Coley's( ) on the way back, nice, honest folk who did a deal on a "mint" DT10, should have gone there first
