  1. I agree your job as trigger operator -The French are not good at following the rules.

so rules regarding where you can walk are disregarded rules of where you can shoot are met with a shrug ! So add these two together and you have a recipe for disaster.

I am not a rifle shooter but understand about backstops just as I was taught only to pul the trigger on a shotgun if I was shooting up into the sky !

I believe uk shooting on the whole is very safe which is why I find this UK story troubling. Especially as my shooting buddy is having problems at the end of a relationship that has turned sour

With regards to France the have a proven history of not wanting to follow the rules ! What ever they are  !

  2. It was a hallow win for the red bull camp but the new F1 owners got the fairytale ending to a close F1 season.

I believe masi was asked to make the last race interesting and take it to the wire !

but rules need to be followed and Mercedes and Lewis were robbed as masi did not do his job properly!

  3. Feel I have to stand united with walkedup here and as I started the subject of the scenes in the program We should welcome all to our forum regardless of religious beliefs or sexual orientation - We have enough “enemies’ out there without making anymore !

though trying to bring this back to a lighter note  I think we can draw the line at positive discrimination against the follow on our good old PW

London Best, many of us value your knowledge and experience across a range of topics, but this is one area where the vast majority do not agree with you.

Shooting should be a broad church. You are welcome to your opinions, however most people would rather discuss the merits of the subject programme rather than views of homosexuality.

Sorry, just got to chip in here - I'm gay but I still hide from Daleks.

*no overriding point to this - only that we are all scared of Daleks.

Peter truly hope I have caused no offence . The bully of Grange Hill used to give me nightmares as well ( was bullied as a kid at school ) It’s not that I have led a sheltered life I haven’t  ( my shooting buddy older brother is now his older sister! ) but it’s just something I struggle to watch ! Mr Agriv8 is watching another episode now.

  5. Mrs Agriv8 similar- quote “you can go out and shoot thing” - “but you can watch two actors pretending to have gay sex !”

Not really squeamish but the same as James Bond - casino royal with the chair with the hole in and the monkey fist rope - shudder !?! Though the line about the itch ….

  6. Sister in law read it while we were on a family holiday a few years ago. she was either shrieking with laughter or wincing in horror! She couldn’t put the book down until she had finished it in double  quick time !

Re the program struggle with the whole gay sex thing but I am just a grey haired old dinosaur so a bit like when the darliks turn up when you were a kid and you have to hide behind the sofa.

spannial ears were fair flapping in the wind - but she was trying to get air born to get to the tree rats on our lunch time walk through the park !

Still a bit breezy in gods own county had to put a brick against privi door to stop it blowing open and interrupting one’s “constitutional visit” while inspecting the racing times !

Typical big brother attitude. In most cases on our deer the bullet will exit anyway.  As said I am more than happy to use copper bullets, next thing they will be banning the plastic tips.

No next they will have to sit the dear round in a circle and politely ask it to

    stop making baby dears

    stop eating all the saplings

play nicely with the other animals.

You can then put your sandels back on and have a nice healthy lentil and pulse soup.

only after this Will alternatives be discussed ( the naughty step for instance)

I have a Browning B80 semi auto 12 bore, a clone of a Berreta 301/2/3, I saw a article that the main recoil spring should be replaced after much use, anyhow mine is about 38yrs old, I searched everywhere for a spring, Browning/Berreta no luck, did a google and got onto a Berreta home page, ordered one, for the pricely some of 3 euros, yes 3 euros, 15 euros with tax delivered.

It came, clearly my old one was a good 1"-2"  shorter with use, put it in, now if you are faint hearted and unless you know what your doing, don't do it yourself, The spring is under a lot of pressure, you can knock your eye out, for sure, anyone who considers the purchase, job, give me a buzz, I will give you some tips.img003.jpg.8706064178d2d6c61d1f0d9585b537c8.jpg

  12. Well the world going to end as London has now been put on code red.

it’s all part of the levelling up you see us northerners take  some of your hard earned taxes and give you some of our weather in return.

Being honest I did ring the ageing parents made sure they had battened down the hatches. checked they have basics in case the power goes of mobile phones charged up etc.

Chance of a bit of snow as well as rain and wind - keep safe anyone of out pigeon bashing that would be good sport.

at the moment we have the calm before the storm I recon

Maybe the ukraine made noises about joining nato knowing that it would cause a reaction from russia.this in turn would bring the west in to support them and push financial aid into their economy.the west is being played and fools that our leaders are they will dive in head first.

Especially true if the leader ( sleepy joe / bungling borris ) making the decisions  we’re also under fire at home and wanted something else to send the press hounds after!

I feel sorry for the soldiers butting there bits on the line for our politicians who are only in it for there own bulging wallet !

  14. I don’t believe it’s fair blaming landlords for pushing up house prices.

councils have sold or passed there housing stock to housing associations or owners they can’t afford to build or replace.

the system is Brocken on that we can all agree how is a private landlord with 3 properties and running this as a business any different than a multinational doing the same for big profits.

If private landlords did not fill this need for rental properties who would? But if you were in the op position and worked to procure three rental properties I suspect your veiw point would be different.

Just have to remember there are two sides to the fence just as most subjects.

  15. I have owned one cleaning and maintenance get some posts on here - don’t follow the book. IIRC no lubricants up front if you have to you need to fully wipe off. Above the trigger in the working bits lightly oil.

the workings round the gas port will coke up clean off with scratch free pan scrub and heavy duty solvent cleaner you will get through a bit ! if you are festidious about only putting the gun away clean it can take a good hour to sort after use. most only clean after a slab of cartridges unless it starts messing about !

finally getting em dry after they have been used in heavy rain can be fun !

I had the 3.5 chamber plastic fantastic one could be picky with short light cartridges ! But it could also had a hard life enjoyed my time with mine.

oh it should come with a shim kit so you can Taylor it to fit you !
