  1. I like all the threads when someone asks for help and the seeing what a brilliant lot we have on here and all the kind offers that come forward, it makes being part of it so rewarding, so ......Happy Christmas to you all and hope you have a great new year Graham
  2. Congratulations, if you need someone to test your skills on then I will gladly volunteer. Graham
  3. A man with the same taste as me, wouldn't be without it now.
  4. I was at Kelbrook today, the first time out with my own gun, released quite a few clay pigeons back into the wild with no damage to them. I must admit I hit one clay that wasn't mine but was soon put right by a couple of lads there. Had a good day until I went to put everything back into the car when I locked my keys in the boot, had to get the mother in law to drive over from Clitheroe with my spare set and then take her out for lunch. Had a good day though and will be back for more next week.
  5. Just had the call, I can pick up my certificate tomorrow (decided to do that given some problems we have had with the post) Looks like shopping time now. Hopefully see some of you at Kelbrook or Coniston soon. Graham
  6. Just thought I would let you all know how Lancashire are doing, application sent on 8th April, email confirmation received on 15th April, FEO visit today, 28th and should have certificate within 2 weeks. That's just about 34 days from application, I cannot complain about that given some of the stories in this thread. Two weeks then till the shopping spree, cannot wait. Graham
  7. Just thought I Would drop by and say hello to all on PW. Just about to embark on a journey into the world of Clays, have just applied for my SGC and looking forward to joining the banter on here. How long between the arrival of the certificate and a the purchase of my first shotgun? I reckon on about 2-3 hours if I can hold off that long.
