The Countryside Alliance is running a campaign to raise awareness of online abuse and threatening behaviour towards those undertaking legal activities (i.e those involved with hunting, shooting and the badger cull). I would like to see all guns that don't take at least two brace pay a fine, maybe donate the money to the game to eat campaign - there by putting money into promoting game food. OR just take the pheasants, breast them out and cook them up that very evening in some red current jelly - aint rocket science.

I have very kindly been given a couple of widgeon by a colleague. I am thinking of taking off the breasts (skin still on) and quick frying them for a warm salad? They were shot on an estuary, and I am a little worried about the overwhelming taste (the smell is bad enough), should I be? Any thoughts would be appreciated!
