  1. Well All I know is this is my first dog I have ever done and I don't think I'm doing a bad job so far this is why I posted because I was to seek advice! as for now I guess I'll just leave him to it then
  2. Don't want to make any money out of him that's why I didn't get a kc reg dog just wondered what age people did let them or when people got them done
  3. I just mean would it be good to get it out his system I knew when I was a teenager that all I had on my mind haha 😂
  4. My lab is about 7 - 8 months or so now and he keeps trying to **** everything even my young springer! What age could I stud him out?
  5. Yeah Ita not got any discharge or anything tho
  6. Hi I has just discovered red in the corner of my labs eye, looks like kind of bloodshot in both eyes is this normal? thanks guys

  10. They are both doing really well to be fair , these things will just come with time over the last week I have had him now both dogs do like to have a mad hour with one another and they do settle down I would actually go to say it's better at some points
  11. What trainers are good north west ? I don't mind travelling too much if they are good ? I think I'm doing quite well so far hahah made allot of mistakes with using treats for certain things but apart from that! There are so many ways it's hard to find any one way of direction
  12. Thanks for your inputs guys ! So like so when I get it take them out for about 15 - 20 mins each then take them both out and let them burn them selfs out just using basic commands I.e sit and recall ?
  13. And for example they are also house dogs so like when I just want to chill at night after a hard days work I don't want to crate them still I want them both out but if they won't stop playing what do you guys advise me to do because I don't want to end up insane hahahahah
  14. So would you still walk them both together ? Like Coby my lab he is 19 weeks and he is flying his training picking it up so so so fast it's unreal like he is already retreaving and everything on point so just started with the whistle , and would it be a good idea to seperate the crates so both dogs don't know who will be out of the crate ect ?
  15. Sounds like sensible advise nice one pall what sort of time scales do you think I should do with them being young because they will need to play its part of being a pup ?
  16. Hahaha guys what have I let my self in for ! I crate them anyway and I know this might sound daft but like when I take them out for training how do I do it without anyone of them feeling left out as such because I put hell of allot of time into my lab? Does this make any sense ? and thanks guys
  17. Hi guys , just ended up with an 11 week old springer that has been re homed 4 times , I had to have him before he ended up in a kennel but he is from working stock the only problem is I have a 19 week old lab ! It's like play time all the time which I knew it would be but is there any ways where I could burn them out so I can chill for half an hour or anything tips or pointers would be great , thanks Sam
  18. Everyone's opinion on how old should be when it starts is different some people say as soon as you can get it out and people say when it's one some say two ! I have a young dog and I have had him out from when I can and he has no problem picking the biggest winged birds !! Had slight problem with him dropping it at my feet but a little bit of gold and dead work sorted that within a week !! Personal choice ! I don't think there is any better training than in a field weather your shooting or not asking as your main focus is the dog after all that's what your wanting him to do in the long run why not demonstrate your training in the field !
  19. Call for mr pair What about a visla ? A cocker or a springer would be good to its down to choice and what you want to do , spaniels are great for flushing tho ......
  20. I just think if he is doing it naturally why stop him because he loves being out ! I know what you guys are saying tho , and what I mean is it is getting the hard work done now ....
