my names scott, im 17 and working as a chef. used to shoot a few years back but interest waned, now i got the bug again! soon to join my local club made some friends up there already. i like to play sports, footie snooker pool etc etc, love going out and socialising. still got a lot to learn about shooting and shooting etiquette and stuff so be nice guys!! :P
  1. i just fitted a pod to my bsa ultra today, took a bit of time but it was worth it in the end! first you need a swivel stud, then there should be like 2 "pins" that clip into the stud. this isnt as easy at it sounds its quite a tight fit but persevere with it. then to finish up there is a screw type thing that tightens a rod into a metal plate on the pod, which in turn tightens the whole thing to your stock. it may vary from pod to pod, but thats what i did with my one! hope that helps, scott

    Tattoos

i had one done about a month ago on my shoulder, it hurt on the shoulder blade but not so much on the fleshy bits. i wouldnt have been allowed one on my forearm like the topic starter is getting, coz im a chef ands sleeves are always rolled up. post a pic when you get it done!
  5. if it wasnt for the fact that im in berkshire and my working hours would mean i cant be relied upon, i would definetly want to...
  6. on easter weekend i was driving down to devon on the friday night to visit my dad, left work at about 1am went straight there, was doing about 95mph then noticed a police car on the bridge above me- slammed the breaks on and got down to 70! i was lucky, later that same journey i got pulled over for a routine check, all between 1am and 3.30am. not bad for a first time on the motorway! (only had my licence 2 weeks at the time )
  7. i'd buy a decent bipod for sure. and save the other hundred odd quid towards something else so when i find something i need ive got the money to buy it!
  8. personally, i find 35 yds is the best distance to zero into, but thats just me. also, if you have one, use a clamp to secure the rifle that way it is absolutely dead still so there is no human error to be made. hope that helps ya
  9. if you can afford to spend around £60/ £70, go for a harris swivel. theyre awesome
  10. yeah but theyre not hosted on any sites , post your email addy and ill get them sent to you
  11. i dont know exactly what it is it belongs to my step dad, but its a good one i know that much. anyway like i said i can charge it from the shooting club they have bottles there. bloody couriers have delayed me by another day i just want my sodding gun to arrive!!
  12. this is a 3 week old air arms s200 with air arms silencer, bipod, 6-20x50 scope, soft gun case. its not my rifle putting post up for someone else, reciepts come with to prove how new it is, £300 the lot. email to kevtuck@gmail.com
  13. i love M.A.P scopes but its all down to personal preference. if you can get to a gun club there will be people there with both and you can try them out, see 1st hand what you prefer
  14. its a good job you were well organised! this is gonna sound really amateur but whats a BASC? also what gun did you have on you when they appproached you? im just waiting for my air rifle to arrive in the post obviously im gonna want some shooting land, any suggestions on how i can get some permission?
  15. thats a damn shame that the bisley thing cant be done for this year, cant we arrange between ourselves somewhere else? i know thats probably not possible but there seems to be alot of interest, although i only have an s410 i would be up for going for a shoot with people just to meet others with the same interest!
