SOLD.

Never met George but I wish him well and as markm says if I were local I would sooner give him my money than the big boys.
Does anyone have photo of his cartridge boxes, just so I would recognise the product.
Cheers.

I see S&B are back. I remember using their paper cased cartridges in the 80’s, then they seemed to disappear.

Sold, subject to payment and collection at the weekend.
-
Thanks Gordon.
One I will probably regret if it goes.

We are probably all familiar with this model. Front trigger acting as a single trigger with the rear trigger giving barrel selection option.
I am not exaggerating when I say this is like a new gun. No scratches or scuffs to woodwork or blueing. The chequering is sharp to the touch. Lockup is tight with the top lever at five o’clock. Slip included. Reason for sale I’ve just moved house, which will be temporary and I have just fitted a takedown cabinet so need the space. Face to face only, thanks. £150.
LoP 141/2. Barrel length 28ins. Chokes 1/2 & Full. Shrewsbury, Shropshire. -
Wow, that brings back memories.
On a cold winter’s evening we would have one going on the landing, this was 1960’s early 70’s.
Also in the bathroom if anyone was brave enough.

You could do with some more information.
Length of pull, chokes, barrel length, all helps.

Yes, I have heard good reports. They are on my to do list.
Thank you.

Trying to remember what people used before range bags.

Have just realised! We do have an Olympic trench or ABT set up locally! Bowscar in Penrith which is predominantly a DTL set up.
Haven’t been for years and had forgotten all about it!
Andy Gregson used to practice there a long time ago.A.G. as in one time captain of England.
-
Agreed, some ABT first before the fast and furious.

Thanks. I didn’t know about Ombersley, just looked it up.
-
Thank you and thanks for the very seriously tip, worth knowing.
Think I need a few rounds of “regular” trap before giving O.T. a try, having just watched some YouTube
footage.

I started clay shooting many years ago at a trap oriented club. DTL, Double Rise, ABT.
Having not shot clays for many years. I discovered the above discipline, which I would like to try
it looks testing to say the least, very fast and wide angles. It’s more of a wanting to try it
rather than taking it seriously. Any tip’s please, I am located in Shropshire.
Cheers.

Thank you, I’ll take a look.

I realise there isn’t much left of this season but having recently taken semi-retirement and with next season in mind.
I am looking to make contact and pass on my details should a vacancy occur. Thank you.

I understand all Italian shotguns use the same date code system. This chart is from Beretta. My Beretta 687 is AN = 1985. My Caesar Guerini is a CS = 2017 model.
Hope this helps.
Worth knowing, thanks.

I have the same model, purchased as a wet weather gun. They are well made and reliable.

If you can take a 26” then you’ll find one in that budget
Thank you, good to know.

Under all that varnish there looks to be some nice timber.
Baikal owners take note.

Wow, what a contrast to my photo, thank you.

I have had a look at the 700, unfortunately nice examples are in the 7,8, hundreds.
Churchills of Dereham have a couple also close to me West Midland Shooting Ground which is £900 +.
Appreciate the suggestion.

Leather Jerkin No2,
in Other Sales

Not perfect but good for its age. Still has that nice leather aroma and squeak.
Needs a button and there are one or two areas where the lining and leather could do with sewing back together, please see photo of damage.
I take a 44” in a sports jacket, I’ve just put this on over a winter shirt and thick cardigan and it’s a good fit. Pit to pit 21”.
I always thought of trying to get someone to make it into a skeet vest for me. Rediscovered during house move.
If you want more photos send me an email address, bank transfer only. Thanks.
