  3. Hi All I have just got my FAC and have a .22 CZ452 reserved that I am picking up at the weekend. I will be using it for vermin control. I need some advise on what sort of scope people would recommend on a .22 rimfire, ie. Magnification, brand and recticle and also which mounts??? I don’t want to spend loads but just don’t know what to really look for. Any advice would be greatfully received Thanks Nick
  4. I,m sure I read somewhere they are not allowed to close the roof when people are in the stadium, due to "health & safety" what a load of.......................
  5. I think they are referring to the fact that the orange flag indicates allied forces but didn't stop some americans recently popping off some of our guys even thought they saw the orange flag

  8. All Is recently read in a magazine - Sporting Shooter I think that a fella in there was using 4's on squirrel's? I normally use no bigger than 6's and dont seem to have any problems giving them a flying lesson  Was wondering what you guys use/recommend?
  9. I had this problem at the weekend after putting 400 carts through my 686s on a clay simulated driven shoot, the best way i found was as others have suggested and give the affected area a good soak with oil and leave for several hours then give it a good scrub with a phosper bronze brush - and not one of the cheap spiral ones they are pants - depending on how bad the leading is repeat severel times and then clean out as normal and the barrels will shine like new
  10. I have a fully moderated Hushpower Baikal .410 and it is superb, easy to shoot with and effective range is better than I thought. Very quiet with subsonic carts. I have a friend who added a hushpower mod to his B/A Webley .410 however he couldn't get any subsonic carts as could only find them in 3" and the Webley is only 2 3/4" chambers?
  11. All I now have what i was looking for. Thanks Hewey, sorted me out a very reasonable Browning B80. Thanks all!

  15. I usually use a .410 with Eley 3" Mags - 18gm/6's and drops them everytime. However shot one with a 12g clear pigeon 32gm/6's on a walk round at the weekend and as someone mentions above the damage is far to extreme - Overkill I would say!
  16. Hi - Do you have any pics?
  17. Hi All I have a .410 Baikal Hushpower which is great, however i want to put a sling on it and was wondering if anyone has seen or done this? Obviously it will be easy to put a swivel on the stock but am unsure about the barrel/silencer? Can anyone help? Thanks in advance
