as said above .22 is the same as .22lr and all gun shops will stock them, just ask for .22 rimfire bullets. the others like .22 hornet etc are centrefire rifles. i use eley subsonics + winchester stingers for hyper-velocity

Fishleigh i think i may live near u and possibly even went to the same school if your who im thinking of. torrington? if so i know of some springer pups near by which will be good workers.

personally i dont think theres much difference training wise whether u get a dog or a bitch, people say bitches are less head strong but ive yet to see it. just make sure u get 1 from good breeding and the rest is up to you. i've got an 11 month old springer and he's a handful at times but you can tell he's gonna be a good dog once he matures. Reckon i'll try a lab puppy once the springer is a bit older though just to see which i prefer really.

This morning around 7am all pheasants in the wood adjacent to the house were being disturbed by something and two huge carp from the pond had been eaten leaving only a few scales and a bit of flesh. Ive heard otters leave the bones is that true? im not to sure so thought i'd ask u lot 1st. got a live catch trap i can put out but not to keen on catching an otter or alternativly just sit and wait with the rifle i suppose? any advice would be appreciated.

i got the same problem with my cz lux but cant seem to slide the rear sight off? i got an SAK moderator which is a good but makes the rifle a bit long though and its not a grub screw 1. want to get mine shortened and re-threaded at some point
