  1. There you go again bruno, bad mouthing guns u never used, like in the gamo phox thread. when will you ever learn ?. Now tell us all who your shooting buddy is who "gave away" his £800 hw100 in disgust and please ask the guy he gave it to, to confirm he received a lovely £800 gift from your buddy please !
  2. If it shoots like a laser and doesn't break then i aint bothered really. I'll be the 1st to post if it does trust me !
  3. How much hold over beyond 60 yards ?
  4. Gents dont put down equipment they never used. Or make 1st time buyers of PCP rifles feel bad by saying "How many gamo rifles have won FT competitions, this gun shoots more per fill, this gun this, this gun that" basicaly saying you bought the wrong rifle without even using the new gamo, thats called assumption, not experience or proof. Does that sound Gentlemen esk or friendly to you ?
  5. Sure did, dont slate a gun u never fired. I only talked about my experience with THIS ONE, bruno never shot this rifle but seems 2 know how others are much better price for price. If that isn't fan boy talk then what is ?
  6. Yes of course, so should the guy who assumes "his choice of rifle is better" even though hes only used on out of the two in question. How can he possibly compare without using both side by side. This thread started with someone talking about the gamo they bought and how much they liked it, he then jumped all over it saying "how many gamo have won FT comps, this gun is better, more shots per fill, does better this and that" thats why i butted in !. Like him saying "my car is faster than yours, have we raced, NO, so how the hell would you know ?"
  7. Thanks, heard a few bad stories about the BSA, sexy rifle but few people here and there saying they will never buy one again. s410 not so much. alot of members tend to favour the hw100 over these two mentioned for build quality and accuracy. If anyone has had experience with all 3 of these would love to hear what they would choose. Thanks for reply, will do some research on both you mentioned, thanks !
  8. Obviously u haven't shot a single pellet through the new gamo phox so HOW THE **** WOULD YOU KNOW how it compares to you're fanboy gun ? Answer that and I'll seriously be impressed !
  9. Didn't say it was my thread, it was winnie2457 who posted it stating he bought a gamo phox for people to comment on and sharing his experience for others to see, then bruno jumped all over it stating other rifles were better for the price, even though hes never shot this NEW rifle so how the hell would he know ? which to me is a fan boy reply rather than actually knowing facts before he speaks. Suck his **** all you want, put both guns at the 40yard range then let the results do the talking, ps, have YOU or ur *** chum shot the gamo phox, no ?, then shut up, post it when u do yeah !
  10. Quick off topic question, if i had £800 - £1k whats the best rifle i could get and why ?
  11. So right, this new BSA barrel is so bloody accurate its unreal !. ranged a pigeon in at 47yards (scope set to 32yards indoors from yesterday at range) small breeze right to left, 5 click up, 2 click right, took the shot, BOOM, head shot, brown bread ! £300 PCP, head shots at 47 yards ? anyone do any better with a same priced pcp, post and share ?
  12. You are very much right about the RM8, never shot it but pro views on youtube tell it all, amazing piece of kit hands down. One thing to bare in mind is that the gamo phox alone is a £300 gun (£500 package includes scope, mod, pump, case) hence the all in price. I know there are better guns on the market sure, but how many at £300 PCP can group 10 shots at 32 yards and all within a 5 pence piece. I always say let the results speak for themselves, that's why i posted. Happy shooting ! This .177 didnt even come close to my 32 yard groups with .22 so be careful when you ASSUME one gun is better than the other in future !
  13. Hi Everyone, my first post. Joined up to share my thoughts on the new gamo phox i bought 3 weeks ago. (and the BSA R10se black which comes next week ) Lots of people out there would love to know what this Gamo £300 rifle offers (add scope, mod, case and pump, thats £500 allin) and ill do my best to tell you what i know and learned This rifle as we know is a Gamo/BSA joint project. The barrel is a cold hammer forged work of art which will obviously keep shape and accuracy being tougher than most barrels out there in its class. Its light, great to hold, nice 2 stage trigger pressure, built in suppressor and delivers pinpoint accuracy as long as ur pressure is within 110-200 bar, anything over or under u tend to see pellet lift or drop which pi**es you off if ur shooting perfect groups at the range (which you will). Keep it in the sweet spot and ur pellet on pellet 7/10 i kid you not ! Shooting indoors at 32 yards this rifle grouped 10 shots within a 5 pence piece (i know, couldn't believe it myself). pellet was the .22 RWS hobby 11.9g. Ill let the results speak for themselves My thoughts, anything within 45-50 yards u shoot hunting, its dead Reason i've ordered the BSA R10se .177 is for long range target shooting, not hunting nor stopping power. Guy at the shop said he will give me full refund towards the BSA, i said "sorry pal, im keeping the gamo, its that ******* good, i'll have the BSA aswell, but i aint parting with this one" Ive fell in love with this gun only because ive tested it and know what it can do, BSA/Gamo have created a game changer here and i aint selling mine for no price !
