A friend of mine has a Berreta 686 12g 28†multi he has managed to dent the end of one of the barrels. He has managed to get it so he can get the chokes in and out and he said it shoots fine but would like to get it sorted he has also go a crack on the fore end which he would like repaired or replaced to match the butt Do you know anyone that can do these jobs??

'fraid so, they aren't charities run for just for us . . I wasnt looking for charity. I would sooner have taken the gun for chopping. but if he was going to sell it he should have offered him say £10- £20 this would still be profit to him and his customers wouldn't feel like they had been taken for a ride

I'm not 100% but i don't think that jill jab is very good for them if you are in kent i know where they can get done by a v/hob or there mabe one near you ?? much better in my view mine was done twice this year

To be honest mate sounds to me like you don't have the room and if this is the case then Ithink its better to go without eaither that or just put two slabs down next to the house an buy a rabit hutch with a run below aslong as you handle them and take them out etc will be fine and want take up a lot of room Or if you only want it as a pet i.e not for hunting then do what the yanks do and get it de sented and buy a cage for them to live indoors with you you can buy good cages for rats and stuff from them big pet stores and put him in the shed if you have one leave the window a jar and again plenty of handling and exersize they will do great

What I intend to use this for is as follows clays,phesants,rabbits,pigeons duck and wild fowl I know there are different types of ammo i.e. steel etc but how many types are there and what are they used for? ( I know that over water has to be none lead) I also know that it is numbered i.e. no 6 etc, what is each one and again what is it used for? And the length of the barrel 28" or 30" what difference does it make other than being 2" longer? (I wish) Also is there anything else I need to work in budget? I don't need a cabinet as I will hold it in the works armoury to start with. if you have anyother hints / tips or info you think I may need please post away I will be trying alot for fit before I buy cheers fergie --------------------

wanted is a mk1 8ft ferret finder collar ok to save you the bother i haven't lost an 8ft ferret! the collar is a mk1 not the ferret! no my ferret dose not have an 8ft neck etc
