I know it looks a little over crowded but as soon as they hatch and can stand up they are put into the heat warmer thing, I stay in and check on them every half an hour to make sure they are doin ok!

Sorry Teal cann't answer that one, I havn't got the faintest clue what breed it is but I shall have a look on the net and see if I can find a picture of one that looks like them!

I have the same problem, when I sight my gun up in my garden I shoot it out the window, Then I take the first shot and hit zero and take a next shot and it goes way to the left ecen though I know Im staying dead still.
You have the same prblem as me mate!
But when Im out shooting I always hit what Im aiming for!

I have just recently hatched out my first chick out of about 20 eggs today and thought I'd share it with you!
It's really cute!
It might also be the only chick I might ever pull!

Does anyone know anything about ferrets if so would you be kind enough to share your expertise with me please?
I have 7 ferrets 1 is pregnaunt and nearly due to have her babies soon, the dog ferret is still in there with her and she keeps biting the dog on the neck and head and looks like she is hurting him, She is trying to drag him into the nest she has built!
Do you know why?
Hearing from oher people that once the femal ferret is pregnaunt she kills the dog if the are left together!
Is this true?
I have seperated them!
Have I dont the right thing?

As you can proberly see! the crow had hold of my little finger and would not let go!
I held its head just to make sure it wouldn't bite me!

The other day as we were letting out the geese, unfortunatly we found a dead 1 laying down on it's head, we have no idea how it died.
We placed it in a wheel barrow and left it over night!
We came back in the morning only to find it's whole face and stomach was ripped apart! My dad and I suspected that the rats have been eating it so we place 2 rat traps around it and on it hoping we would get the rats. We went back there this morning to have a look and unfortunatly we found a crow with it's leg stuck in the trap! It was only it's foot in the trap! I said to my dad straight away ''shall I put it out of it's missery''. My dad replied ''No! it will survive it only has a bad cut on it's leg'' so I quickly took a picture and let the poor thing go! I must admit I did feel a little soory for it, now we have decided not to place the traps outside again!
When I shoot crow and kill them it is ok, but if i find one caught up in wire or traps or even in a shed I le it go!
I dont know what you would do!

Went out today (Friday)! Got up at 5.00 to try and catch mr fox trying to get at my grandads chickens but couldn't find him anywhere.
Took a walk over a wasted field which was over grown! Saw some rabbits running about but didn't want to shoot them because I wanted the fox! In the end couldn't find the fox anywhere so i decided to have a pop at some rabbits on the way back! I walked round a corner and there was a nice big bunnie sitting there eating some grass also there was another one a couple of ft behind it! I rose my 20bore OU slowly and squeezed the trigger!

I ran over there to make sure he was dead only to find I hit the other one and killed it at the same time!
Thats the first time ever I have shot 2 rabbits with 1 shot, I was soooo amazed! Gonna take some pictures tomorrow morning of me holding the rabbits and where I shot them etc:
Will have pics on here by at leat 1.00pm tomorrow.

I brought some smoke pellets today from my local gardner & scardifield!
I used them on the rats borrows at my grandads allotment and didnt have no success at all, not even a sign of a rat!
I made a BIG mistake by breathing in the smoke accidently, which caused my vision to go blurry, having a really bad mi-grain and belly ach!

I heard that you have to pair up the babies in the first year or they will not be any good for ferreting
Is this true?
How much is a young ferret worth?
