hi guys well went into hospital for op mon27th, left ward at 3pm to go to theater ok so far, then to me it started to go downhill, transfering from ward bed to op bed god almighty stomach cramps the one when the muscle just under rib cage goes into hyper drive, lasted about 10 mins very painful. anethetist nearly postponed it, anyway this happened 2 more times then it calmed down, so of into anti chamber for spine injection, problems again as i had previous surgery on back before, it took a few attempts to get through scar tissue, then my legs started to warm up it had worked , great now into op room. lying there while the staff put screens round and a cloth so i couldent see anything, next thing i looks up and sees a leg crikey whose leg is that waving about in the air ,goes quiet for a while, then sounded like someone was using a lump hammer and a drill. thinking when when are they going to start, before i knew it i was in recovery room. ok so far (forgive grammer) I was taken back to hasland ward and i can tell you now they have the best friendliest staff you could wish to meet, bloody fantastic couldent do enough for you. well back to the saga, had a nice cuppa then i got back to the ward about 6pm, laying there pain free magic about 9 they brought meds around and cosultant visited. she spoke to me saying everything went ok, and she had taken loads of **** out or words to that a effect, said i had very hard bones. said when my other knee was ready for doing let her know and she would book an holiday (joking) later that night i started to get cramp in waves from my thigh right through knee into the calf muscle, dont know how long this lasted but i could feel each one start and finish i thought my god how much longer is this going to go on for on and on , must have passed out or been given some meds. when i woke up later i appologised to staff for swearing they said all they could hear was (god almighty here it comes again followed by a scream) well im home a week later monday afternoon feeling not to bad bruising is nice colours but the stockings leave a lot to be desired.(letter on way to makers to see if they can do diff colours) thanks if you have read this so far you very brave. questions 1 what is the **** they take out 2 any you guys had similiar with the cramps well as its 4-40 im going to try to sleep if i can get comfortable any sensible ideas welcome thanks guys
